Leisurely Leander Home Perfect For Large Families!

Come stay with us in our home which is nestled in a private cul-de-sac location within the Horizon Park community! Our updated kitchen is the centerpiece of this home which stays open to the living area. Creating the perfect hangout location. There is a 50-inch smart television in our spacious living room which is perfect for movie night. Our home has four bedrooms one of which is the perfect kids room equipped with a bunk bed.

Guest will have access to the entire house with exception of a closet or space which is used to store extra house inventory.

We can be reached at any time via phone, text, or through the booking platform. We want you to have a great stay so if there is anything, we can do to help you accomplish that do not hesitate to ask. We will provide you will all our contact information prior to your arrival at our home. Thank you for allowing us to host your stay in Austin.

The best thing about our neighborhood is the location. Our neighborhood showcases the best of Austin, we offer a family friendly atmosphere in a quiet and serene environment. Yet we a close enough to the action that you can still go out and have a blast without the constant hustle and bustle of the city.

Being that we are in the suburban part of Austin a car is almost a must, but Uber, Lyft or a taxi are all viable options.

Our home is located in a family centric area, as a result we have a strict NO illegal drugs policy including marijuana allowed in or around our property. Violators of this policy will be required to leave our property immediately resulting in the immediate cancellation of their reservation with NO refund.

We charge an additional guest fee of $20 a person per night after 4 guests. This fee is calculated on the booking app and usually is shown as additional guest fee on the breakdown.

We do ask that you remove your shoes while inside our home. We won't judge if you choose to bring your bunny house slippers. Your secrets safe with us and we appreciate you treating our home the same as you do your own.
We have implemented these few rules in order to protect our home and business. We ask that you read them carefully and keep in mind that you if have no intention of breaking any of them they actually won’t apply to you.

No Shoes in the house.

No Pets under any circumstances. Reservation will be canceled immediately.

No smoking or vaping inside the house! Smoking outside in the backyard or front porch is acceptable.

Zero tolerance for drugs or illegal activities of any kind. Reservation will be canceled immediately!

Quite hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. Please do not disturb our neighbors!

ABSOLUTLEY NO parties allowed! Reservation will be canceled immediately.

We do not offer late checkouts.

No additional guests can stay at property other than the amount listed on the reservation. Please make sure your guests count is accurate.

Nice Place

Visited relatives after Christmas and chose to stay here with my family of 4. All good, plenty of room. Great bathrooms/bedrooms. TV area furniture a little small, but plenty of chairs to sit in.

Beautiful home

Very well appointed home with ease to major highways and stores/restaurants. We enjoyed our time and had all we needed while there. Carpets are in need of a deep clean.

A weekend in Austin

Communication was excellent. We had all the necessary stuff that we needed. A lot of space for family including friends. Very quiet neighborhood.

Disappointing

Four guys in their 70’s met to play golf. The house was just so marginal. The giant front living room has nothing in it but one sofa. The three main bedrooms all had mattresses that were very, very soft, as in old. The fourth bedroom had a small single bed with an air mattress that was unusable to us. many of the faucets in the house do not work properly. The garage was so filthy. We didn’t even want to put our golf clubs in there. The master bedroom has serious stains in the carpet. The kitchen had barely any decent cooking tools, not even a wine bottle opener. The backyard and patio are basically unusable and the house backs up to a busy train track. Just really, so very, very disappointing.

Technically as promised but subpar

What a hard one to rate….the property was exactly as pictured and was well stocked. It delivered on what was promised but the rules on this one are outrageous. I didn’t love paying an extra $60 ($20 per nights for three nights) when we had three adults, one toddler, and one infant. Less than half the beds were used yet we had to pay extra? Seems like false pricing advertised. We also acknowledged their no shoes in the house rule (very tricky with a toddler) yet after few hours of running around his feet and legs were black from the residue on the floors. I’m guessing it’s environmental but I would have felt better if he could have worn shoes without being threatened with an extra fine. Extra fines were threatened extremely often. The checkout rules were just as absurd. Never have I been asked to sweep, mop, wash and dry towels, yet still pay a cleaning fee. Communication was decent from the property manager but they were all automated messages. I did send one question through the VRBO app and it was never answered or acknowledged. To be fair, it did say texting was the best way for a faster response, but it was never answered with the 24+ hours we had left on our stay. The high chair and pack and play were used for my infant and were in great condition. Overall, a decent place to stay. It had a weird layout and not enough seating around the one tv for anymore than we had. If you fill all the beds, you’ll be charged a lot more than listing and not have enough room.

Far from luxury

Go to a hotel instead!!! First off the hosts have so many rules that you probably won’t even be able to actually stay at the property in peace because you are more than likely bound to break one of the rules just by breathing. “Don’t wear shoes, wash all of your linens before you leave the property, don’t have another guest or there is a 200.00 penalty fee, don’t smoke (but the house smelled like smoke) , don’t, don’t, don’t”. There are many threats to the renter about giving a good review. So I now question the validity of the reviews for this house. Ridiculous! We got to the property and the neighborhood is a bit shady, aka unsafe. Walking in the house it smelled like glade plug-ins with a hint of smoke and cats. The house was not clean. We removed our shoes but when we walked on the carpet in the master bedroom, is was so dirty it made crunch sounds at each step, gross!! The smell was horrible. The bathrooms were not clean. The couch, when sat on, distributed a cloud of glad plug-in masked cat and smoke smell. There is a VERY loud train that goes by right at 11:30pm and scared us to death. The back door did not latch or lock, it was broken. (This was concerning as this houses back fence shares a gas station on the other side)The only thing keeping the door closed was a broom handle in the slider mechanism. When we looked down at the floor is had dead bugs lining the sliding door track. The refrigerator was making electrical sounds and it looked as if it had a bullet hole in one of the doors. The lights were flickering and we were scared we would get electrocuted if we used it. The beds were not soft and because of the lack of cleanliness we were too afraid to venue lay on them. We left the property, emailed the host requesting a refund and we have not heard from anyone. Worst experience ever!!!!!!

I gather that this house has recently been remodeled with the intent of turning it into a short-term rental. The house is quite spacious and the decor is tasteful if not a bit minimalist. The "no shoes in the house" policy is a bit odd. Much of the house has laminate flooring, so perhaps cleaning this after every guest leaves isn't practical. Still, this is the first house where I've encountered this restriction. This, however, is a small gripe in an otherwise pleasant experience. We would stay here again.

Perfect place

The property was beautiful. Very clean and roomy. The lay out of the home was open and flowed well. Enough room for the 6 of us to enjoy each other and have a good time.
