Imperial Villa "Chateau Algarve" in Cap d'Antibes

Once through the gates, you are transported into the private world of prestigious Cap d’Antibes…sheer magic. Chateau Algarve is the ultimate experience of a 19th Century Italianate villa, once home to His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaievich, the 1st cousin of the Russian Tsar and Commander of the Russian Army.
Its grande garden overlooks onto the most presitgious bay, where yachts and the beautiful sunset can be seen daily.

Guests have access to the main & lower floors of Chateau Algarve through its central entrance. This entrance gives exclusive access to the rooms and gardens in the pictures. Access to the top 2 floors and tower, with separate entrance are off-limits to guests.

Please note that a live-in housekeeper/person of the house, providing light daily cleaning and continental breakfast preparation is included in the price. Groceries for breakfast must be purchased separately. If necessary, babysitting and cooking can be provided for extra charges.

From the seamless check-in to the daily breakfast prepared and served by Andre, the remarkable, to Andre’s attention to all details and arrangement of difficult to get reservations, all in an amazing and historic villa overlooking a beautiful garden and the Mediterranean Sea, we enjoyed a delightful and memorable stay. We highly recommend Chateau Algarve.

Always the largest yacht out front

Upon arrival the gates to the Chateau opened with a smile at the end of the drive, Andre our live-in houseman. A gorgeous day as we parked out around the entry fountain and entered into a jaw dropping elegant foyer thru to the great room and through views of the yacht filled bay. By chance, our gorgeous host greeted us with freshly prepared parmesan canopies and Champagne. I will never forget this moment and the intrigue of her stardom and stature has only inspired me to come back and visit again. The history of this home is deep beyond the contained library, full of amazing art and artifacts. The Villa sits on the highest point of du Cap, which allows for the largest yachts to claim home because of the depth provided directly in front of Chateau Algrave. Hone not only to Czars and diplomats, but even of recent Cartier. Not to be missed. Me, my family and friends will forever remember our stay.

Perfect 3 days in Antibes

Beautiful historic home. Everything about our stay was flawless. Alex’s (owner) recommendations for Antibes, Cannes, and Monte Carlo were fantastic. Andre exceeded all of our needs. Would highly recommend a stay here as long as the bedrooms fit you needs. It most certainly met ours.
