This property was so impressive. The view was spectacular and I would 100% stay again. You can see so many shoot stars at night time. The grounds were picturesque.

Brian - Royal Palm Cottage
Absolutely spectacular views right from the room. Likely one of the prettiest vistas on the island looking down at Salt River Bay. Property manager and owner were very responsive to all requests. Would strongly suggest having them Drop you a pin of the property location as the directions and navigation especially at night time or somewhat difficult to follow. Make sure to have at least an SUV as a regular car will have insufficient clearance to ascend to Final hundred feet. Would definitely stay there again.
We spent a wonderful week at Royal Palm Cottage, it was the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in a long time. Royal Palm Cottage is perched on top of a hill overlooking the Salt River, and we had coffee every morning enjoying the sights and sounds from high above the water.
The accommodations were perfect, and everything we needed for a comfortable one week stay. Brian was helpful with local knowledge of the island, and even had a few bottles of wine for our arrival.
Just a few tips on things to do for other travelers: ~Snorkel the Frederiksted Pier. Lots of colorful fish live around the pier, turtles can be seen at base of pylons. There is also a beach just next to the pier that is great to walk in and snorkel from. ~Full day at Buck Island. We were skeptical of these types of large group tours, but you can’t snorkel here without being on an approved charter. Big Beards is the best, and the full day is a must with a BBQ on the beach. ~5 mile hike to Jack and Isaac Bays. Tremendous hike, but bring lots of water. This is a moderate to difficult hike, but the reward is the secluded beaches and tide pools at the end. ~18 holes of golf at Buccaneer Resort. Well maintained course, and some spectacular water views from several holes. ~Reservation at Savant. An incredible restaurant in Christiansted. Also, we went back twice to sit at the bar at Bombay Club. Reservation not required for bar, but get there early. ~We missed the Bioluminescent kayak tour on the Salt River, it books out a month in advance, so be sure to schedule in advance.
I could go on and on, but suffice to say we had an amazing stay at Royal Palm Cottage and St. Croix. We will be back!

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide such a detailed review. It will be tremendously helpful for future St Croix visitors. Had a great time hosting you. You and Tracey were awesome. Hope to see you again and to be a future guest at your rental as well. :)
The property is very private, clean and amazing views. No complaints just be ready to go up a steep driveway but the views are amazing. Also the fresh walnut bread that was left in the room was amazing and a great touch.

My husband and I had a great time at Royal Palm Cottage. The place is lovely with a spectacular view on the bay. Craig and Cal, the property managers, are very friendly and accommodating. Craig is very knowledgeable about the Island and had several good suggestions for restaurants, and also for nice snorkeling spots. Cal, his wife, is very sweet and attentive.
Make sure you rent a 4x4 SUV vehicle or a Jeep as the place is on the top of a relatively steep hill and the road to access the place is mainly dirt and not in the best condition.
