Achsah Mongolian Round Tent & Breakfast in Finger Lakes Wine Country region
This is a chance for you to enjoy the Mongolian lifestyle in luxurious comfort. Our round platform tent will encircle you with romance and intrigue, and you can relax in a king-size bed, enhanced with a sitting area and themed decor. Outside you'll find a solar shower, private privy, personal picnic area with BBQ grill, picnic table and grilling tools. Your Mongolian Round tent opens to cozy hanging "nest" chairs and lovely views of our koi pond. Each morning of your reservation, you'll enjoy a fresh, homemade, locally sourced breakfast, made with organic ingredients wherever possible.
At night, your hosts return to light the community campfire (weather permitting) where you'll enjoy Gourmet S'mores, camp snacks, and the soft glow of solar lanterns across this 30-acre woodland site.
Our tent and breakfast is a slice of heaven, located in a wooded, park like setting and nestled between 3 of the 11 Finger Lakes (Keuka Lake, Canandaigua Lake and Seneca Lake). We are a unique private property, off the beaten trail, and truly off-grid. We go green with eco-friendly solar lanterns (no electric), and no WiFi, so you can truly "unplug" and relax in nature.
Guest access There is a pond on which you can paddle boat, or have frog-catching contests, with groomed walking trails and plenty of space to just relax and reflect.
Should you wish to have additional glampers join you in the yurt, we can accommodate for an additional per-person charge, with fully dressed cots, air mattress, camp snacks and breakfast for each additional guest.
We are centrally located in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, a short distance from numerous wineries, breweries, distilleries, hiking trails, waterfalls, farm and craft markets and more. Want to find some hidden local gems, or need directions? Just ask!
Other things to note: Glamping is good old fashioned outdoor camping with glamorous comfort. Your linens, towels, and basic bathroom essentials will be provided, along with our famous breakfast and bonfire. However, off-grid camping still means no Wi-Fi, street lights, or electricity, and our private gravel/dirt road leads you into the property. We do everything we can to create a pampered, relaxing stay, but we still recommend you bring your spirit of adventure and plan to get up close and personal with nature and the great outdoors. Thank you for understanding that we cannot accommodate pets.

We so much enjoyed our two night's stay at Rainey and Jeff's campground and can't wait to return. Upon arrival, Rainey showed us around the campground, led us to our adorably decorated yurt and invited us to join the campfire later that evening for gourmet smores. We opened a bottle of wine and sat on the egg swings for a while, enjoying the sound of the bullfrogs and the beautiful surroundings. Later we enjoyed sitting by the campfire talking with the other guests and Rainey and Jeff. After a restful night of sleep, Rainey made a delicious hot-from-the-oven breakfast and Jeff gave us suggestions of where to hike that day. We are so happy that we stayed two nights and after a day of hiking and exploring local finger lakes towns, came back to our yurt and campfire again.
This place is so special and a perfect off-the-grid finger lakes getaway location. The bed was super comfortable, Rainey's cooking is to die for and Jeff is a great host and fun to talk to. We will definitely be back!

Awww Stephanie, thanks so much! We loved having you two! So much fun!!! We look forward to your coming back.
Our stay was wonderful and the property has a calm and relaxing vibe. Rainey and Jeff were fantastic people to deal with and very accommodating to every need. The breakfast Rainey made was top notch and done with love. I said we left home to come home, and that's how welcome we felt when we were there. We will be back for sure.
We did a weekend getaway and chose the “yurt” based on the location. We were so close to so many wineries and breweries! The “yurt” was spacious and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and s’mores next to the fire pit!
Small group of 6 tents (5 platform tents and one yurt). Host couple are friendly and eager to please! S’mores ingredients around an evening campfire were supplied and a huge-full course breakfast the next morning!! Jeff and Rainey were the perfect hosts. Rustic and “off the grid” with no electricity or running water, they supplied flashlights, lanterns and water canteens. Not quite Glamping.

About the host
Hosted by Rainey Jones
Hi there! I’m Rainey, a wife, and mother of nine, with three of the kids married, and eight grandchildren so far! I’ve always been an entrepreneur and in a previous chapter of life, did a lot of catering as well. I have a gift for hospitality, and I love to cook, decorate, and make people feel welcome, especially around my family’s table.
Since 2018, I’ve built a reputation as a short-rental superhost, offering tent and breakfast accommodations at my family’s Glampground property where we offer multiple Safari platform tents, a popular yurt, and a homemade, locally sourced breakfast on a beautiful woodland site surrounding a quiet pond. Our guests repeatedly tell us “there’s something about this place – it’s almost magical!” In 2020, we built an open-air pavilion to further develop my breakfast and mealtime offerings.
I also operate two additional rental homes (Rainey’s Rooms) in the nearby village of 600 where I have lived with my family for 30-plus years in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. I invite you to enjoy your getaway here at Water to Wine!
Why they chose this property
My husband and I bought our camp when our children were young, the kids grew up there. Between frog catching contests, paddle boats, picnics, dirt biking, bonfires, camp outs, and the occasional wedding it was our special getaway. Now that the kids are growing up and going out on adventures of their own, I decided it's time we share our little piece of heaven with others. So, here we are, meeting new people from all over the world, making new connections, and enjoying the opportunity to share what we were blessed with.
What makes this property unique
30 acres of a woodland paradise, framing a peaceful pond. Daily, homemade, locally sourced breakfast, made with organic ingredients wherever possible. Nightly community bonfire with Gourmet S'mores, the warm glow of solar lanterns and twinkling stars above. A great night's sleep in a comfortable and spacious glamping tent - a unique travel experience you'll remember and long to return to!
