The place was what we needed. Not far from the river or ferry. I would definitely stay there again.

A charming safe and clean place to stay with a great bed and quiet home. The hosts are wonderful and provide excellent suggestions on places to eat and visit. The ferry to downtown is within walking distance. Definitely worth staying again
My sister and I stayed here for a week. The hosts were nice, the suite was a good size and worked well for the two of us.On a normal stay this would have been perfect, but, we came a day before NOLA received a record breaking snow fall, and everything was closed for a couple of days. We came prepared with food and what not, but was still challenging to do easy meals with no basic housewares available. The hosts were also wonderfully accommodating by letting us check in a day earlier than planned (on short notice), so that we could beat the storm. I would stay here again. The view was also great, with the bridge lit up beautifully right outside the window!
Very comfortable and convenient to areas we needed to be in. Really wish we oils have met with the owners to let them know what a wonderful place this was. Will definitely book again when we’re back in New Orleans!
The suite had everything we needed…comfortable bed, hot water with good water pressure, the AC worked great. They have quiet hours at night which we appreciated. We brought blankets like we usually do when traveling. Parking is convenient. There is a trail a few blocks away with a great view of the French Quarter that leads to the ferry, which we took advantage of while we were there.
Lloyd and Anne are the most superlative of hosts! They welcomed us like family on Mardi Gras and we would definitely stay at their house again. Wonderful neighborhood.
This stay is easily one of my favorites! The style of the home was beautiful and surprisingly spacious. My partner and I had ample space and privacy which we really appreciate. The room was clean and as described in the pictures. The street parking was not an issue at all and both my partner and myself felt comfortable in the neighborhood and surrounding area.
Overall had a great stay!
My sister stayed with me and I think she might have forgotten to throw the trash out as instructed. So apologies if that didn't happen. But we would stay there again! Clean and no issues.
Overall, I had an amazing stay! Very quiet and comfortable accommodations. I like that we had a mini fridge and microwave for our use as well. My only critique is the location. Since it is actoss the river, I had to time the ferry trips accordingly to my schedule and be very patient with Uber or Lyft. I had very delayed or dropped Uber trips. Because I was on a business trip it was a bit inconvenient, however, if you were here for vacation and did not need to stick to an exact time schedule, you would have no issues. Overall I highly recommend this Vrbo stay.

it was a nice place but I was placed in the wrong room we was supposed to stay in the loranne suite and my door code would not work but it worked for the Barbra suite. we only had two complaints about our stay was that there was only one set of bed sheets and that the air condition would not properly cool the room and the room stayed around 77 to 80 degrees on the warmer days so it was miserable.
Stayed here for three nights for Jazz Fest. Hotels looked boring and were expensive, so I decided to be a little adventurous and booked an apartment in this craftsman almost directly beneath the bridge over the Mississippi. If you look at the pictures and study Google Maps like I did, you may be scared off a bit. But it ended up being a perfect home base to explore the city. The rental car company screwed up my reservation, so I had to rely upon Uber the entire trip, but I never had a problem getting a ride into the city. In addition, the Algiers Point Ferry ($2) is either a mile walk or a $10 Uber ride away and it takes you directly into the French Quarter. There are also cool little restaurants and bars around there. The apartment itself was clean, very quiet, and had a nice air conditioner that kept the room very chilly. I slept great in the comfortable queen bed, and was able to use my cell phone hot spot to do some work from the desk table as I looked out the window across the Mississippi. (Apartment has WiFi, too, if you would prefer to use the host's.) All in all, I'm glad I took a leap of faith and decided to stay somewhere a bit off the beaten path. Further, the host was very friendly and communicated everything I needed to know in a rapid manner.
The stay was wonderful! The place was very comfortable and affordable as well. The host provided some very useful tips on places to check out during our stay. Would definitely recommend!
This Vrbo property was a good fit for us parking was available on the side street lots of room to park our GMC Denali beside the house. It was safe & secure with all the street lights.
We felt very safe walking back& fourth to the ferry sprocket 10/15 min walk.
Lots of little coffee & local bar/pubs nearby closer to ferry dock.
Lots of history in the area great for the money we also met one of our hosts she was very helpful & nice.
Overall great experience would recommend it to others.
You will hear the traffic from the canal bridge but it’s right under it very minor though.
Would recommend the property for those on a budget.
This was a perfect place for our vacation. It is across the river from the French Quarter so easy to grab the ferry across the river. Cute place with comfortable bed, sitting area to relax in and a great bathroom-spacious place! Nice quiet neighborhood away from all the noise and hustle. I will definitely stay here again when we travel back to New Orleans!
