Arromanches-les-Bains is a hidden gem on the Normandy coast in France that captivates visitors with its picturesque charm and rich historical heritage. This small seaside town, located on the English Channel coast, offers an unforgettable tourist experience.
The town is iconic due to its major role in the history of the Normandy landings in 1944. The town’s beaches were the site of the Allied landings, and its artificial harbour—designed to facilitate the transport of troops and supplies—stands as a testament to the ingenuity of that operation.
