Located on a twelve acre private peninsula just south of Haines, the surroundings offer a spectacular backdrop for weddings, family reunions, and group retreats. There are three newly remodeled buildings nestled in the woods with accommodations to make any group event extraordinary. Whether hiking at the beach, relaxing by the fire pit, paddling on the cove or walking in the woods, guests will enjoy an adventure only Viking Cove and Alaska can offer. The guest rooms accommodate up to 20 guests. The property is located approximately eight miles from downtown Haines with access to the sheltered beach in Viking Cove. The Public Spaces:

The entire twelve acres is available for your wedding. The property can handle 250 or more guests, depending on the type of event. Vahalla Hall is approximately 2500 sq. ft. with 4 large farmhouse style tables and lighting, plus a covered outdoor patio. A public sauna & restroom is located in House #1. Outdoor areas include the firepit, the beach, and the woods.

The Accommodations:

House #1 Raven: a luxury second floor studio apartment with full kitchen, bathroom, wi-fi. gorgeous view. Two queen beds.

House #1 Chinook: a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with a kitchenette, bathroom, wi-fi, deck, gorgeous view. King bed in one bedroom, two queens in the other bedroom.

House #1 Crow: A covered patio, steps away from the cove, surrounded by forest and adventure in all directions Crow has a shared bathroom. On the ground floor, this room is perfect for a family with a full bed on the main floor and two xl twins in the loft.

House #2 Bear: An upstairs room with a queen bed and twin bunk beds plus a private bath. It has a view of the grounds, a peek of the cove & is surrounded by lush forest.

House #2 Moose: A ground floor room with two full beds plus a private bath with shower.
