I bought this property bordering mine at sheriff sale and completely remodeled and newly furnished in 2019. We are on a peninsula at Buckeye Lake. Great area for walking and biking. We have chickens, guineas, lots of deer and varieties of birds. Hawks have fledged 3 young each of past 2 years. The large upstairs deck has a child gate at the top of the stairs.

This property was perfect for my situation (between selling my condo and getting my new place.) My little dog got lost and the whole area helped to find him. Daria was accommodating and I enjoyed getting to know her. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Such a great experience!
This is a nicely remodeled guest house. We had a good stay. Close to Buckeye Lake and activities offered there. Owner very friendly and available for any questions. Quiet area even though houses all around. Nice yard our dog enjoyed too.
My husband and I decided on a Monday night that we wanted to extend our vacation to Friday of that week. We had driven through the Buckeye Lake area several years ago and "put a pin in it" as some place to return for a summer vacation. I went to VRBO website and found Narcissus Place pretty quickly. Hostess Daria was very accommodating and property is lovely. At the end of a dead end street surrounded by birds and trees. Huge deck with table, chairs and a hammock. Inside are all the comforts of home. Highly recommend a stay here. We have stayed at VRBO properties in Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina; all have been excellent. Great way to travel.

About the host
Hosted by Daria Arbogast
Retired, accidentally got into hosting, enjoying our amazing guests...especially pre COVID but getting back again. Our place is a work in progress. We love that our guests enjoy our little haven.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property across from our home at a sheriff sale to rehab. We completely gutted so inside is all new. We enjoy watching the variety of birds, domestic and wild, we enjoy the deer and rabbits...even though they eat our gardens. Traffic is minimal so walking and biking is a pleasure. Lot of folks get around with golf cart.
What makes this property unique
We have found that guests enjoy the partially covered deck, the birds, deer, domestic fowl and wildlife that abounds. We have comments about how quiet it is inside the house. Many come to spend time with local family, attend local music venue, raceway events, trips to Hocking Hills, visit local lakeside pubs and restaurants and some just to come to a private getaway.
