This cabin is in a great place to getaway. It felt like home away from home but with beautiful natural landscapes. The owners were very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough.
The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described -comfortable and cozy. The hot tub made for relaxing nights under the stunning sky. Waking up to the sunrise over the mountain peaks. Had plenty of games to play. Perfect located by Cripple Creek, Victor, Manitou Springs, and Colorado Springs. A wonderful get away with easy access to local attractions.
We had an amazing time at the cabin. The view was awesome! It was quiet. We saw wildlife every day! We loved the history of the cabin and the fun of the feather hunt! Mueller State Park is just up the road and any other amazing places are a beautiful scenic drive away. We will look at booking this cabin again in the future! We were 15 minutes down the road after we checked out when my 6 year old said "dad, my gps (his compass he got at Garden of the Gods) says we need to go back to the cabin."
We loved our stay! We saw lots of wildlife. A family of deer, chipmunks, wild turkeys and a visit to the trash dumpster by a bear! Didn't see him but heard and saw his message lol. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. TV was direct TV and we watched The Kansas City Chiefs game. It was so beautiful and relaxing we only left once. Bill the host was the best!
Cabin was perfect for our 3 generations of family. My husband is disabled so the ground access into cabin was a big plus. Enough space we were together yet everyone had their own retreat area. Loft and downstairs has restroom with bathtub/shower whereas main level has restroom only & it some effort for my husband to shower. We loved being in nature and the grandkids loved the foosball & games. We all loved the cabin.
Bill was an outstanding owner who communicated in a helpful and prompt manner. The property is exactly as represented. We were able to watch deer wander around the property as they fed in the evening. I would rent this property again when I visit the Colorado area.

Disappointed in Colorado
Disappointed in Colorado. I booked this cabin one year in advance and upon arrival found that there was a construction site 60 feet away from the cabin. Construction began daily around 8 AM and did not end until approximately 8:30 PM. This continued seven days a week including Labor Day. Only on the last day of my booking was there no construction. The construction noise is preventing me from using the deck and the porch and I had to keep the windows closed on that side of the cabin to try to abate some of the noise.
We had a blast, we were close to many places and were able to see so much in this amazing area not to mention the weather was great. We will definitely be back to this area again.
We were looking for a nice property centrally located to the attractions we wanted to see. This Cabin git the bill exactly. The property is top notch and just as listed. The property owner Bill, covers every detail and gets you all the information you need as you need it. Very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended this property if you want to visit major attractions in this area.
We rented the property for a family vacation and it did not disappoint! We all found something to enjoy - playing games, the hot tub, foosball, and nature watching (the hummingbirds were my favorite). Conveniently located, many famous attractions are within an hour either direction. The cabin was well furnished and we found all of the notes and labels throughout extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed the beauty of the location as well as ample space for a family of 5.

I've been in the hospitality business most of my life, so vacation rentals are a natural for me. It's like having a little hotel or bed & breakfast. These rentals are going to help us through our retirement. And they are a lot of fun. We love making people happy, and we strive to do it so well that you'll want to come back, and bring your friends.
Why they chose this property
We used to bring our daughter and then our grandkids to the PIkes Peak region for summer camps and always felt it would be a great place to retire to. Compared to heading west out of Denver where we currently live, the drive here is so much easier. Teller County has a little bit milder winters than the rest of the state; in fact it's called the banana belt by the weather forecasters
What makes this property unique
We first viewed this home in early spring, so Pikes Peak had plenty of snow, and that day was one of those bright blue sky stunners. We couldn't write the contract fast enough.
We had a great time decorating this unique property with Colorado art, photos and artifacts from local artists. Many personal items, especially all the kitchen items makes it feel like home for us, and we have lots of good memories here
