The apartment is located in a quiet yet very central area, close to the main station of Duisburg. Public transportation is within walking distance. The exhibition cities of Essen and Dusseldorf are about 30 minutes drive away. The Duisburg Central Station is about 20-minute walk away. An underground station can be reached in about 800 meters. The inner harbor of Duisburg, where you will find the various Cafés-, bar and restaurant culture, including KMM Museum is to be reached very easily reach and on foot or by bicycle the apartment.
The district is very quiet. The neighborhood is friendly and accommodating. A very unemotional and harmonious area.

The 30 square meter apartment faces the courtyard has been designed with great attention to detail by us. I have made sure to make it more friendly, so that every living heart feels welcome. The visitor here lacks nothing. Ie. Bath and hand towels along with soap, shampoo / shower gel, hair dryer in price incl.
In addition, washing machine, dryer, iron & ironing board.
In the kitchen guests will find a complete cookware set, frying pans, eating utensils,
and many little things in front of which are essential for cooking. The Kitchenette is equipped with a sink, an electric hob and fridge. A coffee maker, kettle and toaster are not missing.
So the apartment is fully equipped for 2 people.

As a welcome gift, and small "Bonjour", we offer our guest the first morning of a sweet Frühstückchen. He does not have to employ the same on arrival with all kinds of errands. The Morning includes: coffee, tea, toast, butter, jam, fruit. Bon Appetit!

Here is a brief overview:
There is a 1.40-meter bed, a functional work area with desk and - chair, a comfortable seating area for guests, a cute little kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom, a small but nice wardrobe and a storage room. Special gimmick: A schnuckeliger balcony to the backyard, which is ideal for a Sunday breakfast or an evening glass of wine.
A flat-screen TV is a matter of course these days!
A high-speed wireless connection is available for guests in the apartment and is available in the price in inclusive.

Toller Ort zum Verweilen!

Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Ferienwohnung und hab meinen Eindruck vom ersten Mal erneut bestätigt bekommen! Die Wohnung ist sehr charmant, liebevoll eingerichtet und super sauber! Zum sofortigen Wohlfühlen, auch wenn der Aufenthalt beruflich bedingt war. Auch die organisatorischen Vorabsprachen verliefen unkompliziert. Auch auf meine Bitte das Fahrrad benutzen zu dürfen wurde eingegangen und dieses extra frisch 'gecheckt' und vorbereitet. Leider hab ich es aus zeitlichen Gründen letztlich gar nicht nutzen können. Die Option zu haben, war dennoch toll! Die Anbindung an Hbf und Zentrum ist auch gut. Immer wieder gern! :)

Ich reise viel. Da ich Schriftstellerin bin, mache ich Lesungen in vielen Städten, muss in Hotels übernachten, manchmal auch in Privatunterkünften. Noch nie war eine gemietete Wohnung so liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, die Matratze war bequem und gesund, der große Bildschirm des Fernsehers war wohltuend, Internet, Heizung, ... alles hat funktioniert. Die Ruhe, obwohl mitten in der Stadt! Es ist das 1. Mal, dass auch an Waschpulver, Salz, Öl und Gewürze gedacht wurde! Von Müsli bis Brot, Käse und Butter - alles war da, im Begrüßungskorb enthalten! Ich wünschte mir, in jeder deutschen Stadt und überall wären Gäste so liebevoll empfangen wie hier! Rumjana Zacharieva, dezutschsprachige Schriftstellerin bulgarischer Herkunft

Ideale Ausfallsbasis für Trips in das Ruhrgebiet. Auch Zentrum und alte Hafen auf Lauf-/Fahrradabsta

Praktische, kleine FeWo mit Balkon. Alles nötige ist anwesend und von guter Qualität. Appartment war sauber (bis auf ein paar Haare in der Badewanne, die wahrscheinlich am Duschvorhang klebten und dadurch nicht zu sehen waren). Das Besitzerpaar ist nett und hilfsbereit. An der Vorderseite des Hauses (FeWo liegt an der Rückseite) liegt ein vielbefahrener Bahndamm. Wenn ein Fenster offen steht (Sommer!) sind die Geräusche sicher zu hören. Ich fand es nicht sehr störend, aber wenn jemand sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, ist es besser das vorher zu wissen. Der Besitzer ist evtl. bereit auch ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung zu stellen, was die eigene Flexibilität erhöht. Die FeWo ist m.E. sicher zu empfehlen, vor allem angesichts des Preis-Leitungs-Verhältnisses.

Saubere Wohnung, aber geschönte Aussagen

es handelt sich um eine kleine und auch sehr saubere Wohnung. Der angepriesene Garten ist allerdings nur über eine sehr steile Kellertreppe und einen kleinen Rundgang durch den Keller zu erreichen. "Mal schnell" in den Garten kann man also getrost vergessen. Es scheint ein Gemeinschaftsgarten des Hauses zu sein.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Es ist alles da was man braucht.Sogar ein kleinen Korb mit Sachen fürs Frühstück stand bereit.Auch wenn die Ferienwohnung direkt an den Bahngleisen liegt hört man diese fast gar nicht. Uns hat der Kurzurlaub sehr sehr gut gefallen! Vielen Dank für die gemütliche Auszeit!

Ich habe diese Ferienwohnung für einen dreiwöchigen Lehrgang in Duisburg bewohnt. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll und komplett eingerichtet - hier fehlt es wirklich an gar nichts. Sogar Internet (WLAN) steht zur Verfügung und die vielen kleine Dinge die Freude bereiten (Küchengeräte, Haken/Ablagen im Bad und Flur, Kleiderbügel, Teelichte, die schöne Deko, etc.). Es hat auch einen Abstellraum um dort Koffer und ähnliches zu versorgen. Öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze stehen in der Umgebung zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Diese Wohnung kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Family Visit

I needed a place to stay so that I could visit nearby family. The owners were friendly, flexible, helpful and great at communicating with me before and throughout our stay. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and within walking distance of the Duisburg main train station. I would definitely rent this apartment again next time I visit.
