Lake house with private pool.

Lake Hickory is a hidden gem in North Carolina. Only 45 minutes from Blowing Rock and an hour from Charlotte and Asheville. Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Hickory where you’ll find great food and cool shops. This beautiful property on lake Hickory is perfect for families and entertaining. Down by the private pool you will find a charcoal grill, floats, plenty of seating, and a diving board for hours of entertainment! The property has lake access but water is shallow. Access the lake by kayaks and stand up paddle boards (boats are not able to access dock). When the water is low kayaks need to be walked out to deeper water. The property includes kayaks for adults and children. The lake depth fluctuates about 2 feet. There is a small creek that runs under the dock that is fun for kids to explore. Kids can play in the shallow water and catch minnows in the creek. The house is on a dead end road so there is very little traffic.
Downstairs you will find a fireplace with an oak poker table and space to play games. The house has three full bathrooms with showers. There are three bedrooms and a futon in the basement. The yard is perfect for kids to play. “It’s All Good” lake hickory home is an ideal place for families and friends to vacation.

We loved the location. Out of town but still close to everything. The pool was amazing for the kids. It is a beautiful house. There was just some minor things. Some lights didn’t work one of the ceiling fans in a bedroom didn’t work. Some trash and things leftover from I’m guessing the last people that were there. Other than that we would stay again.

Fun Trip

We really enjoyed our stay and spent most of it at the private pool. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was well stocked. Nice location close to Hickory and right next to the marina. We hope to come back for a longer stay and get use of the kayaks. Adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

The Lake house

We loved our stay at the Lake house. It was clean, Spacious and had plenty for the whole family to do. The three bathrooms were a big plus when getting the kiddos ready. The property itself was so cute with a fenced in yard which I loved for my littles under 5. The area was really nice as well very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect Getaway for our Girls Weekend

This was the perfect spot for our annual girl’s weekend. This house has everything we needed and there was plenty of space. We loved being able to cool off in the pool. John was very responsive.

This house was perfect for us while staying in Hickory for our daughters wedding. 3 bedrooms upstairs and a futon downstairs in the basement. The kitchen and pool were great! We would definitely stay again! Thank you for hosting an unbelievable event!

Great vacation

The property was very nice!! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool though our week was mostly rain. The house was very comfortable. It was a peaceful place. Wonderful Weekend Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Lake House. Can’t wait to return in summer/pool season to get to enjoy great pool area. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and the views and setting were spectacular! Family Getaway

We all had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool everyday and of course the back deck. This is our 2nd year staying here. We have family 30 minutes away and 90 minutes away and they were able to come over each day. The area is super nice and we ate at a great restaurant called FOURK.

Two families purchased the house to spend time with family and friends. Most weekend there are at least 6 kids playing in the pool, yard, creek and lake. Our favorite place to spend time.

Why they chose this property

Close location to the mountains and to city of Charlotte. Weather is amazing all year. Fun in the summer and great place in the winter being only 45 minutes from ski resorts in Boone.

What makes this property unique

Large private lot that is perfect for entertaining guests. Great views and access to Lake Hickory. Pool is everyone’s favorite place to spend time in the summer.
