Maison Dans les Landes Avec Piscine et Jardin

It is in the middle of the fields, forests of the moors and Armagnac vineyards that "La Parenthèse" is located, a house with swimming pool and garden for its exterior and large living room with insert fireplace and 5 bedrooms for its interior. The house can accommodate up to 15 people (supplement per night and per person over 10), respectful of the tranquility of the place, festive gatherings of any type are not allowed.

The property is located 3 km from the centre of Labastide d'Armagnac, 25' from Mont-de Marsan (Landes) and Nogaro (Gers), 20' from Lake Uby in Barbotan les Thermes and about 1h30 from Bordeaux, of the Pyrenees and the Landes coast.

When you arrive at the property, you will access the house through the kitchen in which are at your disposal a gas stove with several ovens and plate warmers, a wood stove also having an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge and various accessories and basic products to prepare your succulent meals.PGJyPg
The kitchen is open to the large living room of about 50m² with an insert fireplace, a large sofa, a cosy bar and a breakfast area.
From this room you will access the whole house, all of which is about 150m².

On the upper levels there are 5 bedrooms that can accommodate between one and 4 people.
On the ground floor, you will also have access to a toilet and a double bathroom with shower, bath/shower and toilet.
Finally, the large patio door in the living room opens onto a south-facing terrace with swimming pool. A lunch area is also installed. The wicket gate, as well as the French window in the kitchen, gives access to the garden area reserved for you during your stay.

The house is located in the middle of the fields, forests and vineyards of Armagnac. It is also a few minutes from the Gers where the landscapes and sites are just as beautiful as in the Landes.
The property is out of the way, our few neighbours and ourselves appreciate the calm and serenity of the place.
We remind you that NO FESTIVE EVENTS OR EVENTS THAT MAY GENERATE NOISE ARE ALLOWED!
To maintain the tranquility of this place, the use of the swimming pool (only in summer) must stop after 8pm and there must be no more noise outside after 10pm. The rest of the time, we thank you for using these already resonant spaces in peace, out of respect for the area, for us who are nearby and especially for our neighbors, friendly and peaceful retirees who aspire to tranquility throughout the year.
The fireplace can be used when the coolness sets in. During the winter, a few logs are available for a blaze that you can extend and repeat using logs that you have brought (supermarkets offer the sale of bags of 10 logs for less than €10).

Sheets and towels are not included in the price. They are available for rent if you do not wish to bring your own. The supplement will then be 16€ per double bed and 11€/single bed used, the beds can be prepared if we are notified at least 1 week before your arrival. Beyond that, the packs will be placed on each bed used.

Like any house in the countryside, it is possible that you will meet little roommates with 4 or more legs. It is a house from 1900, an old cellar that retains its authenticity. Don't panic, it's the countryside 😉 As soon as the cold arrives, the windows and doors must be closed, not only to avoid attracting these clever little ones but also, and I thank you for thinking about it, to keep the heat of the radiators inside, thus avoiding panicking the boiler... and my wallet 😉 .
However, I remind you that there are 3 adorable animals, a little dog, a dog and a cat on the property who will try to charm you to get pets. They are forbidden to come to your house and they know it! However, this remains to be admitted to the cat but you will not hesitate to gently remind him of this rule if he comes to your 😉 place

PRICE REDUCTION: in March, April and October, the decrease in rates is due to the fact that there is no heating and that the pool is not usable.
Depending on the weather conditions, before, during and after these periods, the elements could be restarted, a readjustment of the price will then be made.

As for visits, you are 1h10 from the coast, the Pyrenees and Bordeaux, 2 hours from Toulouse, 1/2 hour from Mont-de-Marsan (Landes) and Nogaro (Gers) and 3km from the centre of Labastide d'Armagnac.
There are many other destinations to which you can go, such as the Uby lake in Barbotan les Thermes which is 20 minutes from the house and which allows beautiful walks and fishing trips... and rowing for the licensees 😉
