Peaceful Lake Home on Crystal Clear Water- Sunday to Sunday rental

Enjoy the peace and quiet of non-motorized, spring fed crystal clear Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose, WI. This unique lake offers fishermen, kayakers, paddle boarders and paddle boaters the run of the lake with no worries! Enjoy the sandy frontage as you take swim. Included for you to enjoy the lake are Aqua mat, raft, kayak, paddleboard, pedal boat and a canoe. At night sit back and enjoy a campfire (bring firewood).

This cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), an additional “bonus” room that can easily be used as 3rd bedroom (trundle bed) or for relaxing and features a Corduroy Bean Bag! Fully stocked kitchen with full refrigerator, living room and 2 full bathrooms. This home can be rented year-round and offers winter activities such as ice fishing, nearby Nordic Mountain ski/snowboard hill (15 minute drive), cross country skiing, and all the fun Wisconsin winters have to offer.

Paddle, kayak or walk to Little Silver Lake Resort and The Red Fox Bar and Restaurant located on the lake just down the road and enjoy their large playground, candy/ice cream store (open summer only) and delicious food. Beach can be used M-Th for a small fee.

Evergreen Campground is just a 5 minute drive and M-Th (excluding holiday) you can pay a small fee to use their amenities including pool with splash pad and beach with Wibit floating water park.

Bedding, linens, dishware, cooking utensils, kayak, paddle board, pedal boat, canoe, raft, floating aqua mat, 4 life jackets, cooler and many more amenities are included.

We have always wanted to stay at this location and the 'off' season is great! Since it backs on the road the traffic is usually heavy, but at this time it was very light and not intrusive. The lake is wonderful, so clean. The cabin was immaculate and while basic, it had everything we needed and was comfortable.

You will not find a better host or cottage on Little Silver! If you want an amazing lake view, a clean cabin with all of the essentials, a functional layout & a great outdoor space to relax and enjoy look no further.

Perfect cottage for anyone! Our family had exactly what we needed. Separate room for our teenage grandson, beach area and fire pit we all enjoyed and “coffee nooks” for early mornings. It’s quiet - no motors on the lake of any kind and really clean which turned into a perfect week! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Great Cabin

We have stayed at a number of cabins on little silver lake, and this was by far the nicest and cleanest. The lake frontage is also fantastic for kids as it is a nice sandy bottom and shallow even past the dock. We will definitely stay here again!

Our week long stay at the Red Cabin was great, the place has everything you would need and expect for a week on a lake. Definitely would recommend it to anyone and plan on staying again next year

Love this property!

This place has it all! The lake is the place to be; use the provided jon boat, one of the 2 kayaks, the paddle boat, the stand up paddle board, or the canoe. The house is very clean, and everything is provided for a wonderful weekend. Very nice host. Definitely staying again!

Summer getaway

We love this property, it’s location, the cleanliness of the lake, and all of the amenities . The set up by the lake with all of the water toys, fire pit and lounging chairs were great places for connecting. My only recommendation is that the beds were not that comfortable.

First week of August

The cottage is lovely. It was so clean, nice new towels, so welcoming. It is stocked so thoughtfully- all supplies needed. The paddle boat, kayaks, and water supplies are everything one needs. We have such good memories of Little Silver Lake and it didn’t disappoint. The Red Fox had great food and service. We will likely come back again and maybe stay for 2 weeks.

Exceeded expectations

This was a high quality rental that matched the excellent quality of other VRBO rentals we have been lucky enough to book across the country. Did not disappoint one bit. The lake is super clean and quiet. Perfect for swimming or kayaking throughout the day. The view is spectacular. The house was clean and seemed to have a lot of recent updates. There was a ton of room to spread out inside and outside all week. We want to come back as soon as we can. Thank you!

The water is a color you wont believe is in Wild Rose! The place was very clean and even a bit more spacious than I was expecting. Good communication. Clear water w/ lot of toys (Maui mat, kayaks, paddle board and a basement full of life jackets and floaties and lawn games) Lots of outdoor seating options. 2 pull out couches in each living room and a trundle bed in 2nd bedroom. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen stuff and even some bathroom essentials like toothbrush kits w/ paste, bandaids, etc. Would stay again :)

It was everything we hoped and more

I am probably a bit biased, as my family has been coming to Little Silver Lake Resort since the 1930’s. This year, due to scheduling, we chose to rent this house. Normally we stay in the cabins on the east side of the lake. This property was outstanding. It was everything we had hoped and more. In a way, it was like 2 homes in one. The first room is when you enter from the front door. Big bathroom with a nice water pressure shower. RC on the wall with Netflix option. From there, that room enters another room that is like the 2nd house. Kitchen was great. Had everything we need. No issues with the stove and fridge. The TV in that family room for a workout, as it was good to just chill out after being in the sun each day. I normally don’t sleep well away from home, but I did here. The mattress was firm which I like. Also, the window air conditioning unit in the family room window kept everything cool. This property has one of the nicest beach/dock areas. We spent a lot of time fishing, so that was great. This has to be one of the best maintained properties in the lake, so it was well worth what we spent. We hope to rent it again next July.
