About this property

Come & get Away from it all!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This space is located on a private 150 spring-fed lake in the Ocala National Forest. Whether you paddleboard, kayak, bike, run, paint, bird watch, write, choose your pleasure, and enjoy this lakefront property. Close to Silver Springs, Juniper Springs, and Alexander Springs. 45 minutes from Daytona Beach. Grocery stores and drug stores within 3 minutes. Pet friendly.
The space
This property is an acre and fully fenced. The area you will enjoy is c. 750 square feet that is open concept and completely private - with your own entrance.
Guest access
The neighborhood is a small private lake community - with no public access. You are right off State Road 40 in the Ocala National Forest so there are lots to do, but you will need a car. There is a restaurant and convenience store within walking distance. A Winn-Dixie and CVS are about three miles up the road.
Other things to note
If you are interested in a yoga session or retreat, please reach out to me - as I mentioned I am a certified yoga instructor and would happily practice with my guest. Please reach out to me for costs. I also have a few traveling massage therapists lined up, in case you would like that. I want my guests to relax, renew, and destress! I'm excited that I get to share this amazing property with you.

Very relaxing and welcoming

My husband, dog and I really enjoyed our time. Location was great for springs and dining to Ocala. Relaxing on the dock made the sunsets perfect.

Beautiful tranquility in comfortable accommodations

Our stay at this beautiful quiet property proved to be exactly as it was represented & more. The property & fenced yard area offered a spectacular view of the lake with all its tranquility & beauty. The efficiency quaint, comfortable and clean. The property owner was in voluntary contact just making sure everything was to expectations. Simply could not asked for more. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Your Own Private Paradise in Paradise!

This was such an amazing property. From the very beginning we can tell the property owner paid attention to detail and made this rental feel like a home away from home. From fresh towels and Netflix, to a beautiful dock where my husband and I enjoyed the sunrise. It was are own private paradise where we could relax after going on adventures around Ocala. We also loved being able to bring our dog and not feel she had to be locked up because the property had had big enough fenced in yard for her to play in the evenings. Big thank you to Terry for always being available for questions during our vacation. We enjoyed and will definitely be back in the future.

Quiet spot close to the springs!

Very nice, quiet, clean apartment that’s only about 15-30 minutes from several springs. Would stay again!

Why they chose this property

My parents built this home in 1988. When I graduated from college this space was actually my “apartment”. In 2001 my husband and I bought the house from my parents. Sadly, these three people died within five years of each other. As a way to pay tribute to the people who meant the most to me, and have the opportunity to maintain this home, the way it needs to be, I decided to become a host. There are many items in this space that speak of my Mom, Dad, my husband, and the love we all shared - and I want to share that with you!

What makes this property unique

This is such an amazing area with so much to do - whether you want to go and enjoy all the outdoor activities in the area, go to a Gator football game, head to the beach, or just chillax and enjoy this little peace of heaven (pun intended).
