Beautiful property. Close to everything. Loved seeing and learning about the Alpaca. Owners are very friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate with. We’ll be back.
The hosts were incredible - welcoming and available if needed. Meeting and learning about the alpacas was a wonderful treat, and I even got to meet the cat. Our accommodations were perfect, the mattress was firm and comfortable, and the bathroom even included toiletries. Loved our stay here and would definitely return and recommend.
This was the best place to stay when visiting Oregon. The owners were kind and care for your needs. They supplied snacks, coffee, and more. You also get an amazing educational tour on alpacas which was great. I will come back and stay again whenever I get a chance.

Thank you! We so enjoyed hosting you and do hope we see you again.
What a beautiful stay in the countryside. The Alpaca's were the main event of course, and we loved the fresh air, quiet nights, abundance of nature close by. It was truly a relaxing getaway where we could slow down, unwind and just be. Thanks to Paul and Deb for your hospitality and the Alpaca's for bringing such joy.

Wonderful hosts, and one of the best vacations I’ve ever had.
We are so thoroughly satisfied with our alpaca stay! The hosts were so communicative and accommodating and made check-in, our alpaca experience, and check-out a breeze. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, and we were so grateful for such an accessible walk-in shower on the ground level with railings and a built-in seat. We learned so much about alpacas and will never forget the hands-on experience we got to have with them!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very comfortable. We have family that live in the area and it was just what we needed for our visit over Thanksgiving.
Had a great stay on the alpaca farm! We appreciated the adjustable bed, and the little touches like the snack basket and muffins. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we had everything we needed to make a home for a couple of days. Plus, our daughter loved loved LOVED feeding the alpacas and petting the dogs each morning. Thanks for being so gracious and welcoming, Paul and Deb.
Really wonderful in every way. The property far exceeded our expectations, the proprietors were helpful and super considerate, lots of little extras and personal touches. Honestly we can’t wait to make it back there!

Hard working, dedicated farm, passionate about animals, my kind of people.
Two night stay on this cozy Alpaca farm! Small farm feel, quiet and nice, clean accommodations. The host were great, friendly, and accommodating letting us meet the Alpacas and feed them! They gave us an education and had a quaint little Alpaca store were you can get all things Alpaca! Thank you! Would recommned for a stay!
We had a great stay at the alpaca farm retreat. It felt like a home away from home. The host Paul was available for questions and gave us a great tour of the farm. The area was a great location between lots of places to eat and explore. Feeding and seeing the alpacas were the highlight! Highly recommend!
We had a great time! It was very charming, cozy, well-stocked, and clean, and so peaceful listening to the frogs at night. The alpaca were great, we loved getting to meet and feed them.

About the host
Hosted by Paul and Deborah Nelson
We love the Willamette Valley and settled here about 5 years ago. We bought our first Alpacas in August of 2017 (5) and now we have a herd of 18 and growing. We live on the property, but interact with you as much or as little as you would like. We had a guest that stayed a week and it was a spiritual retreat and we only communicated via notes and let her totally rejuvenate on the property.
Why they chose this property
Our property is quiet with beautiful sunsets you can enjoy from the hammock swings in the Big Oak tree in the front of the unit or on the covered front porch. It is far enough away to relax in the country but you can easily (35 minute drive) get to rivers, hiking, wineries, antique shops and lovely small towns to shop and explore.
What makes this property unique
We have a lovely store on the property, and we sell Alpaca socks, hats, scarves, yarn and other fun alpaca related gifts or souvenirs. We will take you to the Barns and tell you all about Alpacas, with plenty of time for pictures and hand feeding the animals. We will light fire in the fire pit and even provide the makings for smores for a nice romantic evening. We provide, muffins, Coffee, cream, sugar, Oatmeal, Popcorn and snacks to enjoy in the unit.
