Loved the accommodation. Very roomy, very comfortable, very interesting, wonderful view especially at night. Grateful for the valet parking. If you want to stay downtown this is an excellent option.
We were there for a volleyball tournament. About a five minute walk to the convention center. Great central location and a ten minute walk to the Farmer’s market, restaurants, and the Marketpkace. It is also only a 20 minute walk to the JFK Memorial sights. One thing we noticed was the entire building had what we felt was a mothball smell. Very obvious as we entered daily. Not just the apartment, but the building.
The property is fine! Pretty much as-shiwn, and the few complicated factors regarding getting to and into the building area clearly broken down in emailed check-in info. The only downside is the walk from the garage to the entrance. It's not far, but if you're traveling with lots of luggage this short distance becomes a hassle, especially going up or downthe small flight of stairs to access the elevators.ofelevatupor.
We stayed a week for an event at the KBH Convention Center. Nice little walk across the park to enter the event. I love the building! Wide hallways, high ceilings and an awesome view from our ninth floor apartment. Convenient to everything! Public transport, downtown venues and an amazing library across the street. I want to come back to Dallas when I have more free time.

Access door Codes for the building main entrance and the flat were not efficient and there is no one at the property to assist. Throughout the 5 days I stayed, I relied on residents coming out of the building to open the door before I enter because both the code and barcode could not open the door. In addition, I was unable to access the flat's access card, despite putting the last 4digits of my phone number.

Hotel staff not directly available after 5:00. They would answer an email but you couldn't get any actual help until they came in the next day. My remote control wouldn't work. They told me to turn the TV on with the button on the back. Could not control anything. Had to by my own batteries--to be able to watch the Superbowl. Heat wouildn't work. Buttons were stuck. They sent me a picture of the thermostat. No staff until next day. Had to pry buttons up with toothpick myself. Room not ready in time. Missed my shuttle to Superbowl watch party because of this. Valet took 25 minutes. Extremely heavy homeless area. Constantly bombarded by same.
In a normal hotel, you can go down to the front desk for something. Not here. No front desk until next day. Convenience store charged $12 for Tylenol--$7 for those two batteries. Rooms had no ceilings. It was like sleeping under a highway overpass bridge.
For the price it served it’s purpose. The area was a little sketchy, especially at night. Lots of partying in the building and it always smelled like pot. The unit itself was fine. Beautiful views. Ice maker and dishwasher did not work. A few throws to snuggle up in and a few extra towels would have been nice. Mattresses were super firm. If you plan on cooking the unit had a bare minimum of essentials.
We stayed here for a concert in deep ellum, we walked pretty much everywhere. It's a great distance from just about everything you need from CVS to restaurants and bars in downtown dallas. The small bar downstairs was great, friendly owner and great bartenders. The building was quiet and we didnt run into any issues. The property is alot bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were very surprised and the view is beautiful from the apartment since it's on the top floor.
