The house was so cute and well equipped. The lake view is to die for. The local bar/ restaurant "Cheers"was fun and the pool and grounds in the resort are well maintained.

Adorable little cabin with lake view! Having coffee with lake view was awesome. Four season porch with little lights was great when it was raining. Close to hiking trails- and Jill made sure we had all the hiking information. Hostess is definitely with the mostest!!
Great stay! :)

Amazing base camp for a day on the lake or a day in Uwharrie
Amazing place to stay for any Uwharrie National Forest OHV Trail System Jeepers. If you don’t want to camp, but don’t wanna stay super far away or in a hotel, stay at this amazing tiny home at Badin Shores Resort, cannot say enough about it! It has a two person max, but super comfy bed, adorable outside seating areas, amazing views, everything you need and only 19 minutes from Eldorado Outpost.
And the owners are also Jeepers, as well as avid off trail bicyclists, who reply back immediately about any questions you may have.

Thank you for your wonderful review. Y’all were great guests and look forward to having you as our guests again!!
The property is heavenly . Very peaceful with beautiful views and very accomodating. So much so that we stayed an extra night. The host Jill was very responsive to my inquiries prior to reserving. Check in was a bit challenging as you tend to have to drive around to find the property and gps does not give clear directions. The guard/ gate staff are new and aren't familiar with street names. The pool was not in service due to a needed repair , however the beach is nice Even with those challenges we couldnt have asked for a better experience. My experience was so impactful I'm considering purchasing property there.

Thank you for your nice review. The pool is now open so I’m sorry you missed it by a few days. We are really glad that you enjoyed our sweet tiny house! We hope you will be our guests again!
I enjoyed my stay. The property was nice and clean. I expected with it being a resort there would be a lot of loud noise but there was not.
There is a small loft with a mattress upstairs and the master bedroom is downstairs.
On day one, the a/c in the living room went out and Jill was very responsive, scheduling a maintence person to come fix it.
The property is well appointed with all the necessities.
The only feedback I'd give is make sure guests can find necessities easily. I needed an extra blanket and while there was one in the master bedroom, I needed an extra blanket (mini-split in the back put out a lot of cold air) and found it upstairs but I had to crawl on my knees to find it. Same with pots and pans. I think this could have been mitigated by moving the blankets stored upstairs to the closet downstairs and letting guests know on the fridge where to find the pans.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.
Nice Tiny Home in private resort community near Uwharrie National Forest. It lacked 1 or 2 amenities, but nothing we couldn’t live without for a short stay. Would likely stay again if in the area.

The amenities of washer/dryer are provided in the laundry facilities located near the pool, which are shown on map posted in the house and in the welcome packet.
Very nice tiny home that is practically brand new. Wonderful screened in porch with lake views, and ceiling fans. We went during a "slow time" and hardly any other vacationers where around. The houses/camper sites on the resort property are very close together, so if everyone is out on a busy weekend, it may be a little noisy - but it seems like most of the places are weekend getaways for retired folks.
