The house is located in a very convenient location. The host are friendly and welcoming. The house is clean and roomy. My aunt loved it and stated she would love to live there.
We live in Michigan, have many family in the Tennessee/Kentucky area. This was a great midway point for all and plenty of room for family to visit with us.
There were 5 of us who stayed at the property for a family reunion in a neighboring town. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we really enjoyed it. The beds were comfortable and very inviting with country quilts on all the beds. Very homey and cozy. Tommy was a great host.
We had plenty of space in this gorgeous home. The owners were great folks and we enjoyed our stay. The antique shop and farm stire were fun too. Highly reccomemd.
We wanted to see the area so we found a centrally located location place.
We loved the space. It was beautiful inside and out. It was close to convenience and basic necessities, and in beautiful country side. This was what we were looking for and found it there. The facility was very relaxing and accommodating.
I lived in Gamaliel from birth till seventeen and knew the people that lived there and Always loved the house was a pleasure to spend the weekend there and plan lord willing to visit again.
The house was clean and well kept. The host made sure we had everything we needed and were very friendly. Walking distance to a gas station and a convenient store.
Can't find enough positive descriptive wordsto describe this home. I recommend you read the history of this house, very interesting (also find the video to watch).
Just what we needed for our visit to see all our family in the local area. Well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms.
We stayed at The Jackson House during Memorial weekend to visit nearby family. The house was very clean and had all the amenities. It was spacious for the four of us allowing us to relax and have our own space. We even enjoyed sitting on the front porch. With the owners next door, they were available throughout the weekend. Communication before we arrived was excellent. This will be our "go to" place from now on and even recommending to other family members.
We absolutely loved this house, the photos do not do it true justice, its beautiful inside and out and makes you feel right at home.. Our hosts have thought of everything you may need and then some, The host introduced him self and we never seen him again.. The home is Wonderful and very comfortable and we will be returning each year for our little out of the way vacation, while learning the local history.. If you have the ability to make this a vacation spot, you surely wont regret it at all...... LOVED IT......
This was our second time at the Gamaliel House. We love it there. This time it was under heavy circumstances as we lost a family member and all that goes with that. Tommy was supportive and flexible of our needs. That made a huge difference to us. Thanks again.
