Came for volleyball tournament great location only 5 minutes away

We came for volleyball tournament very close to convention center and Universal. Had a great stay. They have a pool, laundry, and breakfast if you like.

Tv did not work correctly, bathroom door wouldn’t close. Bathroom smelt moldy and lamp shades looked mouldy. Listing through VRBO charges a fee then I had to pay another fee when checking in. Front staff was very nice and lobby and pool was nice, but the room needs updating. If I did book again I would NOT book through a third party.

Cockroachs in our rooms. Room always feels damp. BOOKED THE HOTEL THROUH VRBO WITH THE EXPECTATION OF FREE PARKING BUT WAS CHARGED WHEN I ARRIVED. ALSO THE RESORT FEE WAS ALMOST DOUBLED. Asked the manager why i was charged for parking when clealy the invoice from vrbo said free parking, arefund was correctly returned. The policy had changed but was not updated quick enough on vrbo. They stood by the reservation i made a made it right.

All staff I encountered were kind and courteous. The room as adequate and met expectations. If you're looking for a resort, you'll be upset, but considering the price I was extremely happy. My daughter and I saw tons of other families. However, it was so quiet at night, I slept wonderfully. It was close enough to the airport and Disney, but still seemed a bit tucked away from chaos. :-)

Sea world adventure

We had a wonderful trip. Minutes from restaurants and shopping minutes from Sea world. Its a perfect location . Only thing I didn't realize is there's no microwave in the room. We managed just fine. . The Pool floor needs some work but it was clean and refreshing. Very affordable nice for the money.

Decent Motel

The hotel is actually a motel. It was easy to check in. It was clean. The door was ridiculously hard to open, which is probably why when we returned after our first day out, the room door was left open. Luckily nothing was taken. The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. Plan on toast, yogurt, and mini muffins, as those are the only edible items. (Unless you like Fruit Loops ). We really couldn't beat the price and location...just know what you are getting.

Free Shuttle

Check in took a long time, and TV was set up weird. They replaced TV right away. Was a great price, free shuttle to Universal Studios, and food was ok but minimal. Would stay again in future for visiting Universal.

Breakfast was poor food bins constantly empty house keeping was every other day which is completely fine but never left enough towels when exchanged and always left our door open not latched when they were there! Pool was nice but they never kept enough pool towels available always was asking and waiting

My room was in poor condition.the deadbolt connection was falling off of the door, so no protection there.lights were not plugged in.shower curtain rod was just about ready to fall off of the wall, exposing holes in the drywall which could have been locations for cameras. rust everywhere in the room.

FOR THE MOST PART

It was not bad. ALL OF THE ELEVATORS DID NOT WORK. DURING BREAKFAST TIME NO MORE FOOD IS PUT OUT SO YOU EITHER WAKE UP EXTRA EARLY OR GET BREAKFAST ELSEWHERE. IN THE BEDROOM, IT WAS COMFORTABLE FOR 3 ADULTS (2 QUEEN BEDS) NO MICROWAVE. DOES HAVE FRIDGE. OVERALL IT WAS OKAY.

Great quiet resort in a great location

Third year staying at this resort. The rooms are a good size, the pool is always quiet! The breakfast could use some more variety, they offer the exact same food every single day, every single year.Check in takes FOREVER, they never have enough staff on to handle the amount of people checking in. This resort is a hit for me. Great price. Breakfast included. Close to loads of restaurants and novelty shops. Close to universal, and easy to get to Disney. Gator Golf is close by, as is a Wal-Mart. The one downfall that I’ve experienced every year is that the mini fridge in the room always freezes everything, which sucks when you want to grab a few cheap salads to eat and they end up frozen.Would love a microwave in the room, but there is one in the breakfast room that you can use at any time.All in all, this resort is a great cost effective place to stay when you need to visit Orlando :)

Bugs on bed can spoil your stay

After check in we were given a map for the room location on the 4th floor. We were inform to take the elevator although there were clear signs Out of Order. After returning to front desk and being assigned a new room on the first floor. My wife took a shower and then tried to arrange the bed sheets and notice some type of bugs. The place is the Grand Hotel Orlando, there is no free breakfast, they charge you $11.00 a day.

Breakfast is ok over, I had a great time. If you're looking for a cheap place this is it.

Would not recommend . DEFF get what you pay for hotel, website makes it look much better then actually is. , internet sucked, breakfast was horrible, room was never vacuumed, check in took forever as only one person working with 5 people in line. Had to call house keeping to clean. Pool was freezing.

Perfect location and decent room and breakfast.

I was very pleased with my stay here, we had a very good free breakfast to choose from daily, workout room, pool, great weather, everything we wanted to do was within 3 miles of our place, so it was easy to walk to them for us. There was buses around that were inexpensive to use that we took advantage of one day in the heat of the day, and we caught an Uber to the airport. I would stay again if we come back.
