Breathtaking ocean views and spacious living accommodations await you at this newly fully renovatedfabulous 3 bedroom 3.5 Bathroom Makahuena Condo in Poipu. Well appointed fully equipped kitchen, accommodating up to 6-8 people, in a total of 1300 square feet of living space.

Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-302 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.

Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property.

My family absolutely loved this place! The views are spectacular, and we love the layout, each bedroom having its own bathroom is a real plus. And individual air conditioning in each room is a double plus. Nobody’s too hot, nobody’s too cold. The development is beautiful, very well kept, very clean grounds. The location was perfect for us.

Perfect stay

While the property could use a refresh with new decor and furniture, everything was very clean and as described in the listing/photos. Equipped with basic kitchen items but includes beach chairs and umbrellas. Having three bedrooms and four bathrooms was why we chose this property. The location and property was an added bonus.

Beautiful view

We saw whales from the porch that overlooked the ocean and pool area. Great location, close to the beach and walking paths. Host was quick to answer questions. Overall, our family of 6, ages 10-72, enjoyed our stay!

Christmas Vacation

Great condo with lots of room. Each room has its own bathroom which really helps when you have the whole family together. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the balcony each evening. We videoed a whale as it passed by the condo on Christmas morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location & rare find!

We loved our stay here :) close proximity to the airport and the beach is only a walk away! This was one of the few places we were able to find that had three separate bedrooms that could all accommodate adults comfortably without breaking the bank. So happy with our stay! :)

Beautiful experience

It's in a wonderful location because we could walk to Shipwreck Beach, Brennecke Beach, and Poipu Beach. My friends and I loved swimming in the pool and lounging in the hot tub.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Walking distance to the beach and relatively close to shopping/restaurants. A huge plus was cleanliness and comfortability - matched listing description to a tee. The host was a pleasure to communicate with, no complaints whatsoever.

Comfortable and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

This home is spacious, has everything you need, and all the furniture is very well kept and comfortable. We had 3 couples stay and there was plenty of room. We also had another 3 couples come over every night for drinks and games and we all fit comfortably.

Great location but no door on the top upstairs bedroom

This condo is in a great location - quiet neighborhood and close to shops/beaches. The property manager was very responsive and answered all questions quickly. We had a great time with everything except for the upstairs bathroom is super small and the bathroom door was not functional. It was also a surprise to find that the upstairs bedroom did not have a door itself.
