River Cottage

Gite sleeps 4-6, refurbished in 2022, small covered and enclosed terrace, with outdoor dining area. Located in a village with all amenities, in the heart of the Parc Naturel des Volcans d'Auvergne, halfway between the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys, 1/2 hour west of Clermont-Ferrand. Peace and quiet, nature, hiking, biodiversity, wide open spaces.

Renovated village house, sleeps 4-6, 3 levels:
- Entrance: covered terrace (8.5 m square), fenced. Outdoor furniture (table, chairs, barbecue).
- Ground floor: Living room, fully-equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, extractor fan, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, etc.), utility room, + fireplace area (small sitting area/pellet stove, with pellets provided).
- 1st floor: TV/fibre lounge/office area, armchairs and sofa. The sofa can be converted into a 160cm bed => room fitted with blackout curtains to make an extra bedroom. Bathroom: Italian shower, washbasin, washing machine (iron, clotheshorse, hairdryer).
- Attic: 2 bedrooms, master (160cm bed) and children's (2 80cm beds, which can be made into a 160cm bed) and reading area. A cot can be provided on request.
The accommodation does not have a garden, but does have a small covered terrace. It is therefore possible to eat outside. It is also very close to a riverside (50m away), which is a pleasant place for a walk (+ picnic area).

Sheets and towels can be provided on request (payment on site of €10/person, whatever the length of your stay).

We completely renovated this accommodation in 2022, so it is in very good condition.
This accommodation is located in a very pleasant village (with a grocery shop and bread shop, a bar and tobacconist, an inn, a weekly farmers' market, a shared garden, a free "Sanpèze" shop, etc.)!
Situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel des Volcans d'Auvergne, halfway between the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys, half an hour west of Clermont-Fd, our gite is ideally placed.
