Wonderful birthday celebration

The kids loved the indoor pool! The place was clean and comfortable and plenty roomy, and the lake view was fantastic!

Spring Break Fun!

We had a great spring break long weekend. This property is spacious, and we enjoyed the amenities a lot. We lucked out and had beautiful weather and were able to explore the local hiking trails and spend time by the fire pit and enjoyed fishing from the back yard. Certain areas of the home are a little worn but likely just because many have enjoyed spending time there over the years. I would definitely recommend this property!

Our group consisted of 4 adult couples and our annual Fall weekend getaway. First time in Deep creek area and enjoyed the location of the home to state parks for hiking, near lake for fishing and golf course. Rooms were perfect for privacy and the kitchen table was excellent for board games and dining. Very spacious all around. Only negatives were the fireplace after a bit started to smoke up the room. Yes, flu was open but the chimney may need investigating. The other negative is the outside decking is very worn and protruding nails on railings if not paying attention could cause injury. Definitely a well used deck and home. Will try to schedule another stay next year as it was perfect for our group.

We recently stayed at this property with a large group and overall had a wonderful time. The home is spacious and well-suited for big groups, with plenty of room to spread out and a large kitchen that made meal prep easy. The indoor pool was a great bonus, especially for the kids, and we spent many relaxing hours lounging on the deck couches and exploring the surrounding area.That said, there are a few maintenance and supply issues that could be improved. Some nails were sticking out from the deck, and a few window and door locks throughout the house were broken, which should be addressed for safety and comfort. Additionally, it would have been helpful if more essential items were provided, such as dishwasher pods, toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels, as we needed to purchase some of these ourselves.

Don't rent from taylor made, not helpful at all

While the house over all was ok, it needed so much updating and maintaince done just to make it safe. The wood deck and deck railings and front enterance way had so many nails sticking up and splintered peices of wood, you were afraid to use the railings or walk on it with flip flops because the nails were that far out of the wood. The indoor pool room was so humid we tried to open the windows and the bottom of one of the windows was completely rotted out. The cleaning crew obviously doesn't realize if the ant traps are kicked over and dead ants are everywhere you should really clean them up so it at least looks like you cleaned. There was hair on the walls of one our bathroom showers, and one of the wrapped "complemetary bath soap" they provide in each bathroom looked like it was dropped in dirt and still left it there for us to use. The dock slip that is listed in the description is several hundred feet down the water front which is not advertised, in fact there is a picture showing a huge dock in the rental description which is literally right behind the house and you have to walk past that to get to the dock we had to use. The bear proof dumpster was not emptied at all from sat when we arrived till friday. There was trash all over the dumpster area and when we called to complain they told us they would let the HOA know, that did nothing obviously. You can not rent a golf cart in this community so know that before you get down there! Never again.
