We had an amazing time. This place was perfect for our family. We spent a few days on Bass Lake — enjoying all the amenities at Millers Landing. We went to Yosemite and took a train ride at sugar pine. Thank you for having us as guests. We’ll definitely be back.
The place was spotless and had everything one would need to have a joyful stay. Eric was very responsive and address all our questions before our arrival. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to staying here again!
This property works GREAT for our family of 8 (with room to spare). Conveniently located near Bass Lake and an hour drive to China Peak. Manzanita Lake is a must, beautiful, quiet, and friendly folks. Cozy Seven Pines is The Velasquez Family’s “Go To” for a great family vacation.
This home is spacious and cozy. The kitchen was excellent for all our culinary needs. Home is located near excellent trails and lakes. We can’t wait to book this home again!
Had a wonderful stay! Beds were super comfy, house was well stocked, even with spices and laundry soap for us.
The home was very clean. We enjoyed watching the turkeys and all of their babies. Only 5-7 minutes to the lake. It was perfect for us!
We had great family vacation at this nice cabin. The neighborhood is quiet and with LOTS of wildlives. Very convenient location to Yosemite park, Bass lake and much more. The host is very welcoming and quick in communications. Love this place!

Great home and location.
Everything was fine except communicating with host. No phone number and email wasn't answered.
This house had everything my family of 6 needed. Our girls had plenty of room and they enjoyed the lake near by. My husband. 6yr old and I loved the early morning sightings of the deer and wild turkeys and their babies in yjr backyard. My 6yr old bought binoculars for this particular reason. It was a very peaceful neighborhood and it allowed us to enjoye ourselves and get away from the city life. Would definitely recommend this home and would reserve again. Thank you, Eric for your professionalism and quick response.
We loved the property. The location is very close to Wishon and Miller’s Landing. We loved taking walks daily around the neighborhood. It was very clean, and super easy access. Lots of wildlife. Very well equipped kitchen. Thanks so much, Eric!
The house was so beautiful and relaxing. And not to far from Bass lake we’re we enjoyed the whole day in the water. My family enjoyed relaxing on the back porch looking at the turkeys, quails and deers. And they also enjoyed playing with games at night and the tic tac toe board game in the front. I can say it was a very successful family trip. And we will be back again thanks for everything.
My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy house. We are from the east coast and spent 10 days traveling through CA. The first few days were in hotels so it was a joy to spend the end of our vacation in a cozy, clean, and well-stocked home. The kitchen has everything you can imagine to prepare a home-cooked meal.
We enjoyed the lovely back deck and the large dining room table for our family dinners. Eric was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. The house is a short jaunt from Bass Lake where we enjoyed swimming after our hikes and looking at the stars at night. I highly recommend this property.
It's a good property in a very quiet neighborhood. It's large enough for you to walk around and do things inside if you want to. Kitchen was nice and equipped with all the necessities. The only issue we had was the master-bed which was very squeaky. Every time you turn or move, it would squeak. It seemed really old and past it's useful life and recommend replacing it asap.
Over all, it was a good enjoyable experience and I'd consider going back there, of course if they replaced the master-bed :-)
This entire experience was amazing. The home is beautiful and cozy. The host Eric is kind and accomodating. Views are breathtaking! We will definitely visit again
The property owner is very nice and thoughtful. He replys prompt and efficient. All belongs there are lovely cared. Many table games are provided in dinning room,we was enjoying very much. most short rent house like to set as much beds as the house may contain, but this one just like a real home that has separated dinning room, breakfast area and living room. Many thanks for the nice stay.

About the host

Hello! We are Eric and Chizuka! Our 2 boys needed to get out of the city and into nature, so we sort of stumbled to Bass Lake having never been here. Immediately we fell in love with the mountains, Yosemite, the lake, and the Oakhurst area. So we took a leap and jumped into having a 2nd home. We want to share our love of nature and animals, be great hosts to our guests, and be good advocates for the forest. We hope you, your friends, and family enjoy our little cottage as much as we do. So many adventures to have!
Why they chose this property
We treat Seven Pines like our home, and have it ready to go as much as we can. Hopefully we make it easy to relax, enjoy the area's many activities, and not have to worry about the basics.
What makes this property unique
We are located on the edge of the forest, a very short 2 mile drive to Bass Lake, and can easily made day trips into Yosemite, or the other forest areas around Oakhurst. We have good AC, a great deck that puts you in the middle of the forest, and frequently can see wildlife around the house (if not right in the yard).
