Brand new build from the tornado, carefully designed for the modern comforts of our guests.

This large, beautiful, brand new 4 Bedroom, 4.5 Bathroom home with loft and open concept, sits on the main lake, with the best sunset views on Indian Lake! Your options are endless with this spacious waterfront property having your own yard to play games, shallow swimming, kayaking, and fishing off the seawall (dock is being built but not complete at time of this listing), fire pit, outdoor seating on upstairs balcony or dining on patio!

Inside you will find an open floor plan with windows on the entire side of the house with views of the lake and sunset. The cook’s kitchen has new top of the line appliances and is fully furnished with cookware, bakeware, utensils, and dishes. There is a massive island to spread out all the food or sit at while entertaining. You will find a 1/2 bath downstairs next to a walk in pantry. For your convenience is a large laundry room with new large capacity washer and dryer. The first floor primary suite and upstairs bathrooms all have walk in showers and bidets with heated seats. The “kids room” has a large shower that is also a bathtub. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, are nice sized, includes ceiling fans for your comfort, and dressers for you to unpack and make yourself at home.

Whether you are looking for fun or relaxation, or both... we have you covered! All you have to do is show up and enjoy a clean, new, scenic retreat. We are just minutes from restaurants, drive thru, grocery store, hardware store, marina, and much more! Just a short 20 minute drive also from Mad River Mountain!

This is our personal weekend and vacation home. We have two properties next door to each other. Add on our loft next door that sleeps an extra 6 people. Lake loft (small; but deluxe sleeps 6) is viewed at https://www.vrbo.com/2452433?unitId=3020928

We have a grocery store, drive thru, coffee shop, Rite Aid, Family Dollar & Lakeview Hardware store within a couple of miles, as well as several fast food, bars, & sit down restaurants.

The Lakehouse is a beautiful property with wonderful lake views. Lots of room, great place for a small family to enjoy some time away. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. The house allowed the kids to have a space as well as the adults. And the kitchen provided a great place to set up meals. Thank you for a lovely space.

The home layout is designed to invite guests into the beauty of the lake -- large windows, open kitchen plan, back door to the yard. Weather was mostly cold when we were there, but we appreciated the lake views. Home was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. Recommended!

Family vacation

The house had plenty of room as an addition to my son’s place at Indian Lake. Our family is 17 in number. We liked that every bedroom had a bathroom. With the table and stools at the counter we could all dine together. The owner was very helpful and available if we needed her. The house is beautiful! We are very sorry that they had to rebuild because of the tornado! But the remodel was beautiful done!

We had a great time at the house. It was a perfect location and very nice house. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but the kids loved playing with all of the toys and games. We were able to fish off the dock and rent a boat for the day. We will be back!

Great time at the lake!

This was our second visit to this property. It was perfect for our group of 2 families and a total of 3 kids. The lifts are perfect for a pontoon or ski boat. The location including sunsets are fantastic. The indoor and outdoor spaces are great for a proper lake experience. Regan is very receptive to text and email and very accommodating. We can’t wait to stay again next year!

We had a wonderful time and we owe it all to the home! The location cannot be beat and the amenities were incredible. A fully stocked kitchen, boat lift, fire pit - couldn’t have asked for more! A Fantastic Week!

My family met here for our annual week reunion and we couldn't have been happier! The house location is excellent-right on the lake with the most amazing sunsets! The house is fully equipped-we had the most delicious grilling dinners seated outside and inside-plenty of room for all. The beds were very comfortable and showers lovely after a day of sunning, swimming and kayaking. Regan was exceptional with communication-every question(we didn't have many) was answered promptly. We were so happy to be here for a full week, and so sorry to leave!

Cute house, beautiful location!

Nearby town ow Bellefontaine was really enjoyable. This was a girls trip to celebrate an upcoming wedding and we all had a great time. We did brunch in town on Saturday at the cutest little restaurant. The house is right on the lake and although the weather did not permit for it, it would be great to canoe and kayak from the dock just steps from the door in beautiful Indian Lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms and bathrooms were well decorated and comfortable. Thr only hitch we had was not having check in and check out instructions but once Regan got my messages, Regan was super responsive! Highly recommend.

Winter weekend

Property is as pictured. Lovely views of sunset, ice, and some windy waves. Comfy stay. Host helpful. Great location. Open water views and close to store and restaurants. Downside: fireplace was inoperable and water pump is attached to adjacent garage rental. It could potentially be running late at night or early am while you are sleeping. It's kinda loud as well.

Great owners, Great stay - Family Fall break 2021

This was our 1st trip to Indian Lake and chosen for proximity to family driving from both north and south. The house was very nice with high end appliances and well stocked. Owners were very accessible, responsive and easy to get along with. Fantastic lake access and sunset views. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Lake was filled with exceptional amount of algae ("worst in 30+ years", per marina) which did eliminate lake swimming and made fishing/ boating more difficult. Lake is very pretty, large and wasn't very busy. It is shallow (majority 3-5'), which explains the algae...none of which the owner controls and nothing I'd "dock" the property or owners for. 😏 It was a great stay & I'd highly recommend both the property and the owners.

A very nice house

We enjoyed our stay at Regan’s lake house, found it to be well appointed, and loved the accessibility to the lake. We had heard about seaweed buildup and were pleased to see that her section of the lake was fairly clean, at least not to interfere with boating. Regan was also an excellent communicator. My only constructive feedback for the property would be 1) Offer better quality bed linens and the bed already made so guests aren’t surprised to have to make their own bed at the end of their first night. And 2) offer basic supplies like paper towels and toilet paper (the listing said these are not provided, but we found that there were some stocked - it would be less confusing and more convenient to just provide them). Overall. a great stay and we would recommend!

Beautiful house

The women in my family met for a short get-away in April. The home is lovely and stylishly decorated and provided enough space for five of us. We enjoyed just hanging out together and catching up. Unfortunately it wasn't warm enough for us to enjoy the outdoors and too overcast to see a sunset. But we enjoyed the lake view from inside. The owner was accommodating and responsive. Our only suggestion is to update the info in the contract regarding items that are not provided. We found that many of the things listed that we were supposed to bring were already there. That was a bit frustrating. Overall, a great experience and again a lovely home.

Perfect layout for family gathering

We’ve rented multiple places at Indian Lake for different reasons - fishing trip, couples get a way and family gatherings. For family gatherings this is the best. It’s so beautiful, the furnishings are comfortable and there’s a an open concept for the kitchen, eating and gathering area. A mothers joy! We also noticed that the water is super soft and doesn’t have the slightest hint of well water. definitely going back year after year and as our family grows we can rent the above garage space next door to accommodate everyone.

Relaxing sisters weekend close to home

This property had everything you would expect from a quality rental, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings all at the waters edge. Would highly recommend. The owner is working on how to not have to have guests take their garbage with them but that really is my only hesitation. It was otherwise a worthwhile rental with all the things you would expect from a highly rated VRBO property. Thank you!

We are the Flinn's! We bought this property in 2021. It was a dream to have such a beautiful lakefront property with all the trees, surrounded by nature. The house was built in 1940 and had such character! March 14, 2024 life forever changed for Indian Lake when an EF-3 tornado came through and caused such devastation. Our poor house took a direct hit- it took our roof, windows, personal belongings, caved in 3 walls, foundation, and much more. Though our beloved trees got wiped out, we knew we still loved the location and needed to rebuild. We decided to design, build, and decorate the house ourselves and build a dream home with our guests in mind. This is home away from home for us but we couldn't make this our dream without opening up our home to share with guests. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
