Seaside Cottage Maslina, Torac Bay
This unique seaside cottage is newly renovated and fully equipped for the vacation of a lifetime. Built directly by the sea this unique house is in an idillic, quiet cove. The ground floor has a full kitchen, living room with a comfy couch and satellite tv, dining room and full bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. Upstairs the large bedroom boasts a king size bed with a breathtaking sea view. There is also a spacious half bath upstairs. The large terrace comes with relaxing lounge furniture, large table and chairs, gas grill, outdoor solar shower, and pergola. Listen to the sound of the waves and enjoy the gorgeous view of the sea and the entire cove.
We are an off the grid (Robinson) accommodation. Our electricity is limited as it is only from solar panels. As a result we do not have air conditioning and electrical appliances like coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, iron, etc. Any electrical items that guests bring with them must be approved by the host.

Why they chose this property
Our family has roots on the island for generations. We like the island for its unspoiled and natural ambiance. We are surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and fruit trees. Torac Bay is a beautiful bay on the South side of Hvar island with a beautiful pebble beach. It offers peace and quiet and a getaway from the daily grind and city life. The sea is crystal clear and soothes the soul. In our home and apartments we wanted to preserve the environment while still having a comfortable life. We are completely off the grid. We have solar electricity and water is either collected from rainwater or trucked in. Hot water is obtained through solar heat. We produce our own olive oil and lavender oil and both are available for purchase from the host.
What makes this property unique
What a wonder it is to wake up every morning with a gorgeous view of the sea and the sound of the waves. The area is very quiet so you can listen to the waves and crickets. The view of the stars is spectacular.
