Cozy
The views from the dock were amazing, cabin was cozy and neat. We will definitely be back.
Pleasant stay at the cabin. Well stocked kitchen and lots of board games. Internet is pretty slow, so if you plan on using your computer or watch something online it will probably not work very well

We had a great time at this private cabin right on the lake. It was clean and well appointed. As mentioned by the property manager, TV reception was spotty. There are plenty of DVDs though. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Beautiful Camp. Easy to find and great location. Had a little hiccup trying get the correct code to unlock the camp. No cell phone reception so trying to contact property manager was difficult. Once that was solved the stay was great. Would rent again. Great for hunting and summertime camp with family.
I booked this for a bachelorette trip for 7 ladies. We were absolutely in love with the property, the water is amazing and clear, the fire pit was nice, and the cabin was wonderful. Bathroom was newly updated and beautiful.
Very clean property, rural and a good place to get away! There is one neighboring rental but we could barely hear them and could not see their property. Keep in mind, we did not find the laundry onsite. 30 min from Greenville and gas/groceries. Definitely recommend!
the rest was good, but some moments spoiled everything. cleanliness should be given more importance, many dead flies come to life from the heat. the internet is at its lowest level. nature is beautiful, wonderful landscape.

Nice getaway with excess to lots of nature and woods. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking at the lake. The cabin was perfect for us and everything you need to cook a meal in the kitchen. We loved the maps in the camp and the rustic atmosphere. Lots of nature, birds, moose, and you can fish on the lake. We enjoyed watching movies and listening to the music they provided at the cabin. The only thing that we did not like was that the shower was difficult to turn on and off, it needs attention. Also, we wanted to have a fire in the fire pit but all the wood was rotted. But we would definitely recommend the cabin and stay again.

Great for bringing your pet!
As soon as we arrived our dog ran right into the lake, he loved roaming the property and swimming. They had a nice welcome counter when you enter the home with brochures and maps with suggested things to do. The cabins location was perfect for what we wanted as we love to hike and explore. Saw plenty of moose (Not on the exact property during our stay unfortunately, but I would assume they may roam there in the pond?), turkeys, fox and loved the loons that are usually in first roach pond. The cabin was very rustic and even though it was just two of us and a dog, it would be perfect for 6 ppl comfortably with the loft. We will definitely be coming back. It was very nice they provide you with kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat, fire pit, gas grill, paper towels, dish soap, any utensils and dinnerware you may need and some starter toiletries. Would highly recommend for the outdoors lovers.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
We were initially disappointed that there was no flexibility for an early check-in. We arrived early to beat the rain (a five hour ride). Admittedly, it was presumptuous to expect that if the house was clean and vacant we would be given that courtesy. However, it was clear that there would be no deviation from the “no early check-in” rule. Instead, we sat in the car in the rain with two dogs for 2.5 hours outside the vacant house. What added insult to injury was when the clock finally struck 4pm the code on the keypad didn't work (from previous reviews it appears this isn’t the first time). this would have been a small inconvenience had we been able to call Vacasa (the home is rented through Vacasa) directly using the provided internet information (there is no cell service, we had to connect through wi-fi) but the wi-fi credentials provided with check-in information were incorrect which necessitated a second trip down the muddy, rutted road in the rain to connect to the Wi-fi at the Kokadjo trading post to call. We were provided the lock box code which could have been given to us earlier had there been some accommodation given the circumstances. The cabin did not disappoint, it was as described - comfortable and well appointed. One last word - the water level was very low due to lack of rain this summer, before the dam was released. There was two feet of water at the end of the dock. I had to walk my canoe with motor 200 feet from shore with hip boots order to fish.
Quiet neighborhood and peaceful setting. Nice cabin and great dock on the lake.
******Problem with finding the cabin. House number on the street not clearly visible from road and on wrong side of shared driveway. To make matters worse there is another property a short distance down the street located on the SAME exact street with the SAME exact house number. I'm at a loss on whoever designed that.... To say the least the other cabin owner down the street who got a knock on the door was not very pleased since we woke him up. We had to drive a half hour into town to get cell service and talk with the property manager who was very kind and guided us into the property. Once we got settled in everything was great. We just missed an hour or so due to not being able to find the cabin. I mostly blame the town planner who authorized duplicate house numbers on the same road on the same lake but a bigger more visible sign placed on the proper side of the driveway would have helped. If that was a mistake it needs to be fixed. Thanks for the great stay!

Nice cabin but not what they said it was
It was a nice cabin but was pretty dusty every where, the internet was super slow we couldn't play on our phones and stream Netflix at the same time. The shower is tiny as well. My husband barely fit in it. I was disappointed in what it said vs what it really was.

Thank you for the feedback. Coaching will be provided to our local team regarding dusting homes that have been vacant for a period of time. WiFi in the general area can be difficult due to location and may be limited. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
This was a true cabin-in-the-woods experience for us. We came to unplug, get away, and celebrate our anniversary, and this cabin was perfect. The weather wasn't so great two of the days we were there, but the cabin was an awesome place to nap, watch movies, and read a book. We had no moose sightings even though we drove all around the area looking for them, but we did find out that it is actually moose season so it was probably a good thing that we didn't see any. The kitchen is fully equipped and we did use the grill outside. We would have taken advantage of the firepit and chairs on the back deck if the weather had been better. We would definitely consider staying here again if we ever make it back up to that area.
