Casa Estrellita - 'our little star' - is a wonderful place for your vacation in Andalusia. It is located in the hills above the Vinuela reservoir, less than 60 minutes by car from Malaga airport, less than 30 minutes from the wide beaches of Torre del Mar and 90 minutes from the historic city of Granada. The magnificent view of the lake and the mountains of the Axarquia alone are worth the trip.

The house has a spacious living room with fireplace and large dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (all with bathrooms en suite) and a huge veranda / conservatory to the private pool. On the back of the house there is another small, sunny and sheltered veranda. Here you can also enjoy the Andalusian sun on windy days and in the winter months.

The house is fully air-conditioned and has additional ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

The private pool can comfortably accommodate 6 people. A huge gas grill is available for a fine BBQ.

The house is located away from the urbanizations in the quiet Campo, where only the chirping of the crickets and the ringing of the bells of a passing herd of goats disturb the peace. A car or motorcycle is highly recommended to reach the nearby towns. You can reach the house via a largely paved access road, only the last 500 m are an easily navigable, graveled dirt road.

The prices shown include bed linen, towels, water, electricity (up to 50 € / 250 kWh per week), and 1 basket of firewood per week.

This is by far and away the best villa we have stayed in. It was comfortable, well-equipped, we really couldn’t have wanted anything else. The pool was great, beds comfy, cooking facilities excellent and the view spectacular. Perfect!

The Villa Was beautiful, The views were beautiful and our holiday was all we could have hoped for. We contacted and spoke to Dirk a few times and he was amazing! Speedy and super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! We haven't stayed in a Villa before so didn't know what to expect and we were not disappointed. The pool was amazing and the Kids loved it. Congratulations Dirk and Sabine on a great set up. highly recommended!!!

Secluded escape

We enjoyed a restful stay at this beautiful property, which is actually better than the pictures on VRBO suggest. The kitchen is well-equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and a great supply of pantry and cleaning products. We spent most of our time enjoying the conservatory and pool/patio area, which overlook the beauty of the mountains. Despite the location being somewhat remote, accessible via narrow winding roads, the nearby town of Vinuela provides access to well-stocked grocery stores, a butcher shop and bakery. The owner and the management company were both responsive to any questions or concerns we had.

A wonderful holiday home in every way

Casa Estrellita is a total delight. Exceptionally clean, so well-equipped, comfortable, homely, totally private and in a beautifully tranquil and breath-taking location. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout and it's very clear that their guests being happy is hugely important to them. Their Spanish management agent was also very helpful and the meet and greet instructions were very clear.We enjoyed all the comforts of this beautiful home and made the very most of the pristine pool and terrace. Over the last 16 years we have stayed in this area many times, and have rented lovely villas previously, but Casa Estrellita absolutely outweighs all the others and we couldn't find a single negative. We only wish we had found it much sooner!We would return in a heartbeat and very much hope to do so. Thank you Dirk and Sabine for everything.

Set above and with views looking down on lake vinuela and beyond up to Mt Maroma and along the valley, this is the perfect tranquil setting. The gardens are beautiful and the pool set outside of the summer room with it's wall of sliding glass sublime. A fruit orchard and tropical plants, exotic. So much adaptable space which suited us perfectly with children and grandchildren from New Zealand joining us for one of our seven weeks stay. The furnishings exactly to our taste so this was home from home with perfect weather on this side of the valley throughout. The owner, manager, Gardner and pool cleaner all wonderful. We loved our time and felt privileged to be staying in Casa Estrallita. Thank you Dirk and Sabine for your hospitality

Alles perfekt.sowohl Kommunikation mit der Agentur,als auch mit Dirk & Sabine.Alles sehr schnell,sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.Die Lage kann man auf Fotos gar nicht so gut einfangen,wie es sich dann in der Realität ansieht & anfühlt. Zudem ist das Haus unglaublich gut ausgestattet - war eine grossartige Erfahrung.Gerne wieder.

A fabulous stay in a secluded house

We loved Casa Estrellita! The property is beautiful, well-appointed and so tranquil. The views are absolutely stunning. We loved the pool, the BBQ and the incredibly well-equipped kitchen. Games, puzzles and books were a great touch. Beds very comfy and the cot and highchair for our baby were brilliant. Check in and out was seamless and communication before and during our stay excellent. We would recommend it unreservedly for families or friends seeking a relaxing break in a wonderfully secluded property.

Hervorragendes Haus mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Sehr geräumiges, schön eingerrichtetes Haus. Alles vorhanden. Ideal für 6 Personen. Toller Wintergarten mit schönem Blick auf Pool, See und Berge. Der Pool ist größer als erwartet. Perfekt zum Erholen. Einziges Manko ist die Zufahrtsstraße, die sehr steil, kurvenreich und eng, aber machbar ist. Wir haben mit unserem Bus 10 Min. bis zur Landstraße gebraucht. (Deshalb bei Lage/Umgebung nur 4 Sterne, ansonten 6!) Der Service vor Ort war tadellos. Technische Probleme wurden sofort behoben. Netter Kontakt zum Vermieter.

Traumhaftes Anwesen mit atemberaubenden Ausblick

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Der Ausblick auf den See und die umliegende Berglandschaft ist bombastisch und lädt ein, jeden Tag die Sonnenaufgänge bei Kaffee und Untergänge bei einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Das Anwesen mit Garten, Grillplatz und einem wundervollen Pool lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen wieder, ganz klar 5 von 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Geheimtipp auf dem Festland

Wunderschönes Domizil in Mitten von Bergen und einer atemberaubender Landschaft. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenhalt von drei Wochen mit tollem Wetter, einer super Unterkunft und leckerem Essen. Hat im Grossen und Ganzen unsere hochgesteckten Erwartungen gemäss Beschrieb erfüllt.

Im Allgemeinen hatten wir einen guten Eindruck-alles Wichtige war vorhanden, die Aussicht natürlich super-schön. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die nicht-optimal waren, seien hier aber auch erwähnt: - bei einem WC funktionierte die Spühlung nicht, weil kein Wasser nachfloss - Küche und Wohnzimmer machten einen etwas „abgwohnten“ Eindruck - Müll muss selbst abtransportiert werden - Die Anfahrt ist (vor allem bei Nacht) doch etwas furchteinflössend. Glücklicherweise gab es nicht auch noch Regen. Gefreut haben wir uns u.a. über die Ernte zweier leckerer Mandarinen im Garten hinter dem Haus.

Schöne und ruhige Ferienvilla

In dieser außergewöhnlich schönen Villa haben wir im Mai gut 2 Wochen Urlaub verbracht. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alle drei Schlafzimmer verfügen über ein eigenes Badezimmer. In der Küche fehlte es an nichts, selbst Gewürze waren vorhanden. Ein großer Gefrierschrank tat uns gute Dienste, da man ja nicht täglich einkaufen wollte. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der wirklich große Wintergarten. Gerade Anfang Mai ist es am Abend noch nicht so warm. Da haben wir manchen Abend im Wintergarten in den bequemen Möbeln verbracht und die sagenhafte Aussicht in die Berge genossen. Die Lage dieser Villa ist wirklich grandios. Unterhalb des Hauses sieht man auf den Stausee und in der Ferne auf das hohe Bergmassiv. Die sagenhafte Stille hat uns auch sehr beeindruckt. Eine solche Ruhe waren wir von zu Hause nicht gewohnt, obgleich wir auch mehrere Kilometer von der nächsten Stadt wohnen. In den letzten Jahrzehnten haben wir schon viele Häuser in Spanien gemietet. Aber wir können guten Gewissens sagen, dass diese Villa zu den besten gehört und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Einfach wunderschön!

Ein wunderbares Haus an einem wunderbaren Ort! Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Aussicht, Lage, Pool...alles TOP! Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man wirkliche Ruhe haben will. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Landschaft. Alles super gepflegt.
