This fabulous Cowboy Heaven Cabin offers the perfect spot for your winter or summer getaway! Located in the prestigious Cowboy Heaven neighborhood in Moonlight Basin, just off the Powder River ski trail, offering excellent ski access directly from your front porch in the winter and fabulous access to hiking trails just outside the door all summer.

Enjoy privacy and views while you relax and rejuvenate for the next day's adventures, as you soak in your own private outdoor hot tub on the front porch.

This fabulous 2 bedroom/2 bathroom Cowboy Heaven Cabin will be your cozy home away from home, with private wifi, Smart TV's with DirecTV in every room, a washer & dryer, and a fully loaded kitchen with stainless steel appliances for all of your cooking needs. Relax in the large open living room with an oversized comfy leather sofa and gas stove/fireplace after a great day of skiing/snowboarding or exploring Yellowstone.

There is a king bed in the master suite with a private bath, Smart TV, and spectacular Lone Peak views. Bedroom 2, also with amazing Lone Peak views and Smart TV, has 2 sets of twin over twin bunk beds and sleeps 4 in separate beds. Full bathroom 2 is just off the hallway and has a tub/shower and single vanity sink.

Each morning simply put on your skis or snowboard, step off your porch, and go directly to the Iron Horse or Pony Express lift. Ski in anytime for hot chocolate or a quick bite to eat or even a soak in your private hot tub.

Early and late season ski access is condition dependent and may vary. All lift operations are completely at Big Sky Resort's discretion.

- In the Winter, this property offers excellent ski-in/ski-out to Big Sky Resort with a private outdoor hot tub. Also enjoy ice skating in the Town Center, dog sledding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, etc., all within 20 minutes of this property.

Acra and Chris were amazing hosts. They were very responsive to all of our questions. The cabin was very cozy and the location could not be beat. It is by far the best ski and ski out experience we’ve had to date at any ski resort. Also, the cabinet itself was wonderfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including laundry soap, dish detergent, trash bags, paper towels, kitchen, utensils, a crockpot, a blender, etc. They thought of everything! They even asked us if we wanted a Christmas tree set up and decorated since we were there for Christmas Day, and it looked beautiful.

Amazing stay!!!

This cabin was fantastic! Perfect for a family of 4…2 adults and two boys (8 and 10). Ski in / ski out was easy, location of cabin perfect and such a quaint location! Super easy to access the spot and the sledding and hot tub were also huge hits. Can’t say enough great things about this spot.

Just what we were looking for

Amazing cabin in a secluded location next to other similar cabins with amazing views and a quiet setting. The hot tub is the perfect touch and makes for a relaxing retreat

Great Trip!

Thank you so much. We had a wonderful stay, this was our first big trip out west with our kids and we made memories to last a life time. Excellent accommodations and location

Our family enjoyed a wonderful long MLK weekend at Rustic Ridge!! We skied right down to the Iron Horse Lift to start our days and came in to a nice lunch and rest in our cabin; then, right back out to close down the days on the slopes!! Acra and staff exceeded our expectations with communication and accommodations in the cabin!! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!!

Great cabin and location

Cabin was perfect for our small family. Loved the decor and the cleanliness of EVERYTHING. Anytime we travel, hotel or Vrbo, with my OCD I clean as soon as we arrive. I couldn’t even find a speck of dust! Loved it, we will definitely stay in this cabin or another property of theirs. Thank you

Clean and well maintained. Easy ski out access. Ski in did require a short walk. Only real negative was the fact that we had to take our own trash down to the central trash processing area 3/4 mile which wasn’t convenient

Great ski location

The property was very clean with no signs of wear. The location was perfect for ski in / ski out. The hot tub overlooked the forest for a peaceful evening. They made efficient use of all the space so if you have lots of suitcases you have to be inventive to store while there. But a nice living space for families with an open floor plan.

Great Spot

We've done a lot of ski trips and we all thought this was excellent. Not big, but very efficient and comfortable for the 4 of us. We cooked in most nights in the well equipped kitchen. Great hot tub on the porch. Lots of nice details from games to towels & toiletries to extra blankets for lounging on the huge couch. Even a Sonos speaker for tunes.Ski in/out was as good as it gets, and the location was great no matter where on the mountain you planned to spend the day.

Good service!

I would definitely rent from Moonlight Vacation Rentals again regardless of the location. We have stayed all over the mountain in Mountain homes, Saddle Ridge Townhomes, and the Cowboy Cabins but they communicated the best from the beginning of placing our request to end of our stay. That makes a world of difference for us. I would rent from them again!

Fabulous Stay!

Great overall! Cabin well stocked… clean… easy check in and out! Hot tub awesome. Lots of towels! Loved washer and dryer! Construction was a little loud as compared to last year! Dishwasher works great but it needs brackets attached to stabilize … it tilted a couple of times! Overall very pleased and was a great vacation!!❤️❤️

Big Sky Stay

Big Sky is amazing! The cabin is truly ski in and ski out. You walk out the front door, step off of the deck, click into your skis, and ski down the hill. Upon return, you ski right to the front door and click out of your skis. So awesome! We will definitely be back. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped/stocked. Thank you for the great memories with my family!!!
