Wife and I were in town for the Cottonwood 200 cycling event. We were fortunate to find this place. Everything we needed within walking distance in a wonderful small town. The home itself was great, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked. Host was responsive. Highly recommend!
Easy walk to many historic sites. Very comfortable, up to date accommodations in a restored 19th century bank building. Lovely Riverwalk nearby. Very enjoyable stay.
We attended a Kansas State football game and needed somewhere to stay. The Landing was the perfect spot. We liked that there were restaurant options to choose from and enjoyed a nice walk along the Neosha River walk. We would definitely stay again.
What a beautiful town! The buildings and river walk were so clean and beautiful to look at! Definitely take the time to go and hike or drive around the lake right outside of town. Wonderful place to visit!
This is a lovely rental. Very well setup. Plenty of space. Comfy and cute. Close to everything and was easy to hop over to Manhattan for the game. Great host.
Right in the center of town but off the busy highway, you step up 4 steps and are happy with the comfort and decor of the space. The bath is very accessible and a cute kitchen to boot. Everything needed for a family visit, or destination to an adorable community where pride and ownership matters to it's people.
Great location for Council Grove area and very near restaurants and stores. Accommodation was clean and cheery. Only thing that was a little difficult was figuring out I had to actually install the vrbo app to communicate with property. Otherwise, very pleased.
My husband and I were traveling with friends and participating in the Moonrise Bike ride. We enjoyed the great start to the weekend. Arrived, had dinner, checked out the brewery, then got a good nights rest so we could wake up early and get to work biking to Pamona Lake. Great times! Thank you!

memory lane trip
My boyfriend and I took this trip to visit his childhood haunts--family, gravesites nearby sights. We loved the apartment in the old state bank building--the ambiance /the restoration and the attention to some details, I did talk to the owner and suggested it was time to change the mattress--too soft and to put more shelves and hooks in the bathroom.as it was very small with no place to put our things. Even in the shower, which is great--no shelves, no space for shampoo etc. It was all on the floor. You have to bend down to get it-- no easy for someBut there are many positives, great location, wonderful neighbors--the bookstore, Jennifer gave us the get in info as we had no idea where to go, the openness of the whole town--generous, honest in there help and giving and welcoming folks wherever we went Christi, the owner called and apologized for the misstep in the "where to go part". All in all--we would stay here again, especially if the few changes were made We went home with happy and pleasant memories of this special part of the US. So much history and the celebration of it in Council Grove.
