House is clean, garage is handy, plenty of parking, easy in / out, Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of room to sleep a 8-10 people comfortably, internet and tv.Host are great to work with and helpful.Gas / store nearby. Perfect for a family getaway.
Excellent location for snowmobiling. Perfect place for 4 buddies to spread out, play cards, hang out, and close enough but far enough away for civilization. Loved it!
Host was great and easy to get in touch with, Parking is good as long as it’s been plowed prior to arrival as ours was. Access to the trail is a little tricky but doable for experienced riders unless the road is snow covered over then you can access trails by the road. Nearby store is open if weather permits, very useful in last minute items needed. Three of the double beds are fold out beds and two of the twins are fold out roll always, portable beds were in good shape. Use of garage while renting the house was nice for sled thawing and night gathering around a heater which we brought. We plan to return next season for more riding.
House was very cozy and well furnished. Lisa was very responsive. Internet was great. We were there for snowmobiling and trail access via a forestry road was only 2 miles down the shoulder of Hwy 13. Gas was .3 from house. We would highly recommend this house.
The lovely and well-kept property made for lovely base for our exploration of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore! Our family of 5 were all able to find their spaces to make themselves at home when we were at the home - including solid wifi signal for some unexpected work emergencies! Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us!
