This two bedroom remodeled and new large cabin in the woods is an awesome place to enjoy nature. The bathroom is in the cabin with modern new toilet and sink. The outdoor camo warm shower is something adorable. The path is bumpy in parts but well worth the trip. Owner has vehicle available to use in case of muddy days. The living room/kitchen is very relaxing, pretty, and spacious. The bedrooms have a double or a queen bed and are comfy and cozy. The view is amazing of just trees and no other people as you have 10 acres of privacy plus paths to explore by foot. The barbecue (propane) grill is under the porch and the firepit is under a roof which is good for all weather. Bring your cooler, paper plates, steaks and smores. Be ready to relax and enjoy privacy and quiet. This cabin is rustic, yet pretty and compfy. There is a microwave and keurig but kitchen area is limited as the electricity is almost "off the grid" as you are far from the street.
Deer, turkeys, rabbits, birds, and nature is all you see and hear at this cabin. ENJOY the nature and unbelievable relaxing nature of this cabin. It is truly one of a kind, at the back 10 acres of this 60 acre property.
Left turn out the driveway to take Pymatuning lake road to the lake.

Definitely a cabin in the woods, which was just what we were looking for! We enjoyed the wonderful views through the windows, the shower experience, the comfortable bed, and building a fire under the shelter. This is definitely a rustic experience, its not a fancy cabin- but a simple cabin in the woods, that allows you to "camp" with all of the amenities provided. We loved it.
Everything as advertised…cooler in the house than outside

Hi Folks, I spoke to you as you left and am glad you had a wonderful time. I asked you the best and the worst of the cabin. You said the best was the shower and did praise the cabin, and the worst was the mosquitos. The other response from your famiy was "the best was waking up in that nice bed and seeing just trees and woods out both sides of the room's windows, knowing that nobody is out there on the 10 acres" (or something like that) That is what we are "going for" and I am happy you enjoyed your stay. There was no road to cabin. SUV or Truck you need. Cabin was not cleaned before we got there. Not for children who can't walk yet or just crawl.

I am sorry that you did not like the varnished plywood floors. I do suggest people bring slippers. The cabin is cleaned after each guest and being rustic-in the woods--it is vacuumed and swiffered between guests. The toilets are cleaned and the huge windows washed on occassion.
This cabin is 1/2 mile from the street, and on 10 secluded acres with the cabin, a roofed fireplace, and treehouse. As long as there is not excessive rain, it is relatively easy to drive down the path through the hayfield.
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, but I disagree with your assessment of cleanliness. The sheets, towels, floors, and equipment are always cleaned between guests. I agree with you that a child who crawls would not be a good fit for this cabin. But to those who want to sit on the nice leather furniture and watch the animals and trees through the windows....it is great. Maggie
We had a great time with our weekend in the woods. The right amount of space and everything we needed. Thank, Maggie for your hospitality - and the water!
We totally enjoyed our time back in the woods in this private cabin. The cabin was very clean. Its so quiet, no road noise, just the sound of the forest around you. The covered fire pit area is so nice. We will be coming back to stay again. Thanks Maggie
Perfect place to go off grid. It was primitive enough to be like tent camping but with a toilet. Maggie is the perfect host. We definitely will go back .
The cabin is a wonderful and quiet escape tucked away in the woods. We had a great time. Marggie is a wonderful and friendly host. The kids had a blast playing in the woods. We will definitely come back again. We highly recommend.
Everything you could need for a more rustic, outdoorsy weekend. Beautiful property with plenty of space to really immerse yourself in the woods. Maggie was fantastic, great communicator, gave us plenty of info leading up to the weekend and was around to refill the water tanks for the bathroom and sink. Great price for the cabin on top of all of it. We will be back!
It sure is a cabin in the woods with no neighbors near by. This is exactly what we wanted. Went with my wife, two of our friends and our dogs. Dogs loved the freedom to roam off leash! Maggie was great!
