Relaxing, peaceful house in Calvert County, Md close to beach towns and DC.

A relaxing and peaceful guest house perfect for visiting family / attending events in the area, sight-seeing, nature lovers, or just passing through. Enjoy the rear window sunrise AND the spectacular sunset out front! 900 square foot, stand alone, newly renovated, open concept space with 2 bedrooms and a bath. We live on the property in a separate house. We share the driveway, pool, and yard (we take our two dogs outside several times a day). We’re always available via text, phone, email, and the Vrbo app.

Place was a great place to stay! Amazing views, we got to see sunset on the lake as well as visit the beach which was a short distance away. Diana was clear on communication and very prompt. My only issue was with the ants. We couldn’t find where they were coming from but outside of that it was a great stay.

Diana is The Great Communicator. The cottage is exactly as other reviewers have said. Very clean, spacious, beautiful view and quiet. Easy directions and in close proximity to all that southern MD has to offer and to DC/Baltimore. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others that want a quiet getaway and who love art!. The paintings displayed throughout this home when I inquired, were all done by a pretty famous local artist with national acclaim and who happens to be the owners father in law. Cool.

Browning Family stay

This was the perfect location to get away from it all but still have the luxury of great amenities nearby. Beautiful property and view, home was cozy and comfortable, well appointed, and perfect for a family of 4.

Very nice house in a very serene setting. Modern and cozy. Very good location and close to shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive and got back to us very quickly with any message we sent. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The property is a great little getaway. It's quiet, with a gorgeous view of farmlands and the river. The cottage is tastefully decorated with thoughtful amenities throughout. The yard and pool is shared with the owners, who may be out with their unleashed, friendly dogs. Overall, it was lovely and we hope to visit again.
