Welcome to Villa Bon Secour, tucked away in a private gated community. Out back, the enchanting private pool includes lounge chairs, a grill, and a dining table for 6. The pool has optional heat for an extra charge.

Inside, the one-story beach house has a spacious, open living area. The wonderful kitchen seats 4, the dining room seats 6, and includes a sunroom for additional seating that walks out to the pool area. A primary bedroom, king, has a private bath and TV as does a guest room, queen, and bunk room.

Wonderful home for family vacations

The home was perfect for 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 toddlers. So close to the beach and all amenities. A great pool with bikes and beach chairs for your use. I highly recommend it.

Vacation with our small family

We have planned an annual vacation in Florida for the last 22 years. Our sons who are adults look forward to our time away. We added 2 daughter in laws this year. We had a great time at Villa Bon Secour. Perfect location.

Fall Break

We love this little house on Pelican Circle. We've stayed here for over a decade. It's just the right size for our family. The location is perfect. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Close enough to Rosemary and Seaside to enjoy them, but far enough away to allow privacy. We will be back.

The best location!!

The location was perfect for our family! It is in a quiet gated neighborhood! The pool was fabulous and only a VERY FAST 1-2 minute walk to the beach! If you have little kids this is the perfect house for you! My only suggestion would be to be provided with a couple more rolls of toilet paper and trash bags! So just make sure you pack extra of those in your suitcase! We would love to stay here again!

Additionally the heated pool allowed the kids to swim whenever the ocean was too rough. The ocean was just steps away and the private access beach with the beach chairs setup every day was a true luxury.

Exactly what we wanted!

Private beach access and private pool were tops on the list, but the quaint location and ambiance made it perfect. The backyard was a oasis for sure. A one story made keeping up with little ones so much easier too. Our only disappointment was the pool lights were burned out. Apparently, the switch had been left on prior to our arrival and even though we let the manager know, bulbs were not replaced. Overall, it was such a nice experience.

Once you reach the sand, it takes your breath away. It's a beautiful beach. Loved the pool. Very quiet and relaxing. The house is in a gated subdivision with multi-million dollar homes. My wife and I enjoyed the beach getaway. We will be back.

The only recommendation to the property owner was to check kitchen supplies and get what’s needed. It’s a great property to be back

Location, location, location!

The house really needs a good cleaning. The rugs are all filthy. The furniture is stained & dirty. The sheets & towels were all clean, so that made it ok inside. The house is really neat & could be very nice. Some of the outdoor furniture/cushions need to be thrown away. What makes this place amazing is the close proximity to the private beach & the beautiful neighborhood. When we were there in May it was not crowded at all. The 2 chairs with umbrella beach set up was wonderful!!! The management company was great! I could always get a hold of them with questions & they were very accommodating. Overall, we had a GREAT stay!

The beach service was in the perfect spot. The kitchen came with everything we needed for the few times we cooked in, and the grill was perfect for our poolside cookout. The size/layout of the house was perfect for our group, cozy enough but yet enough room to spread out. The bikes provided were an added bonus for the short ride to the “Big Chill” formally known as the “Hub”. (The only issue was the seat on one of the bikes was not very stable). The pool was also an added bonus for relaxing after a day at the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

July Family Vacation

The house was comfortable, clean and was in a terrific location only a couple minute walk from the beach. It's a very private area and the backyard pool offers a nice private retreat from guests. The only hiccup was that I did not receive check in details until after the check in time. This was because the rental company was missing a signed agreement. I wish the company had reached out much sooner to resolve the matter rather than requiring me to call from the neighborhood gate. The email from many months ago was in my spam folder. Communication from the management group could have been better in this regard. Once we got into the property, the rest of the trip was great.

Another great stay at Villa Bon Secour

This is our second time at this property and it's become our home away from home. Perfect location, great layout, wonderful pool, and super close to the beach. I wish I could give half stars and make it a 4.5 because that's where it should be. There are only a couple of slight detractors that keep it from 5 stars. One is that the living room furniture is past its prime and needs to be replaced. The sofa is uncomfortable as its cushions have lost their support and the two arm chairs have lots of stains on them. For some reason even though the house is relatively small it takes forever to get hot water to any of the faucets. Surprisingly this isn't true for the showers though. Oh, and watch out for Fount Vesuvius, the kitchen faucet. It goes from just a trickle to a fire hose of water going everywhere with just a gentle nudge of the handle. All of these things aside it's a true gem and we've already booked our next trip back.

Perfect Getaway for our small Family

We loved this property! The team at Oversee made everything run so smoothly for us. They were kind and compassionate and overall just great people to work with. They always got back to us in a timely manner and helped us with whatever we needed. The house is in a perfect location and we often walked to where we needed and wanted to go. The pool is amazing and we spent a lot of our time in the back yard. The beach was only a few minutes away by foot. We really enjoyed our time and would absolutely consider visiting this property again.

Great location for Pool and Beach Life

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Villa Bon Secour provides the perfect balance between beach and pool life. The pool is surrounded by trees so the neighbors aren't right on top of you. The beach is only 250 steps away via a great brick and Trex path through the woods. The beach is never crowded and the included beach setup means less stuff to haul to the beach. The house itself is laid out well for a small group and the two main beds are pretty comfortable. Oversee was very responsive to any issues we ran into.A few things that need to be addressed:-The sliding back door is tough to open and close so they used some type of petroleum based product on it to make it easier to open. This created a petroleum/shoe polish type odor that permeated the house. My wife has breathing problems so this was a real issue. Once we reported the issue they sent someone out pretty quickly to try and "clean" the area but the odor lingered for quite a few days so the wife was confined to one or two rooms for a number of days. Hopefully they'll use graphite or similar product that doesn't have such a strong odor in the future.- The cleaning service leaves a bit to be desired. We found dirty towels in the washing machine, there were food products on the kitchen floor beneath the toe kick overhangs (blueberries, etc.), the microwave had nasty finger marks/food on the front, etc. - The kitchen is mostly stocked with what you need but if you cook a lot you'll want to bring some of your own cookware/utensils. As an example we made pancakes one morning but found out that the only spatula available was a metal one for the grill and we didn't want to use that on the supplied non stick pans so we had to drive 15 minutes to the closest Publix to buy one. -Pool service/yard work schedule. Pool service comes out Wed & Fri but yard service comes on Thur. This means that the pool is nice and clean on Wed afternoon and then yard service blows leaves into the pool on Thursday morning. Better sch

Want to come back

We loved this updated ranch. Perfect room distribution and privacy for our family with boy and girl teens who want their own space. Pool and landscaping were really nice. Favorite aspect is the short walk to the beach and quiet neighbors. Want to come back and also seek out other properties by this owner for a bigger group gathering in the summer. 5 stars.
