Romantic natural stone cottage in the idyllic natural park Perigord - Limousin

This romantic cottage in traditional Perigordian style is situated in the beautiful Parc Naturel Perigord-Limousin between the departments of Dordogne, Charente and Haut Vienne.

The house has been tastefully refurbished, retaining its original atmosphere. It's established very lovingly and provided with all comfort for a pleasant stay.

It substits of: 1 living room with open fire place, oven and adjoining well equipped kitchen; 1 bedroom with a large size doublebed (180 x 200 cm); 1 bathroom with a large bath as well as shower; a washing mashine, terrace, barbeque-grill, garden furniture, bikes and swimming pool (shared use) with a wonderful overwiev of the beautiful surrounding country side. Bedlinen, handlinen and kitchen towels are provided (changed weekly).

Villages near by: Varaignes, Montbron, Piegut-Pluviers.

Directly from the cottage: hiking, biking, mountain biking.

In the near: golf, tennis, horse riding, canoeing, antique & fleamarkets, farmers markets, art exhibitions, cultural (events, festivals pp.)

Lovely Gite

This Gite is lovely. Very clean and every thing you need for a great stay. So so peaceful but easy to get to many places. The bed very large and comfy and I’ve not slept so well for a long time. Robert the host greeted us on arrival and was available if needed. Would definitely stay again

Tranquil get away

The cottage is absolutely lovely and has everything one needs for a short or longer stay. Robert is a kind, considerate and generous host who gave us vegetables from his garden when we arrived. We had a great week there and enjoyed the quiet, rural location and private nature of the cottage and enclosed garden. We will definitely return! Highly recommended.

Rural retreat back to nature

Warm welcome by Robert. Property was of a high standard, very quirky. Robert had worked hard to create a unique space. Great views over countryside. Supermarket only 10 min drive. Overall, would definitely visit again.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön restauriert worden. Man kann sehen, wie viel Sorgfalt ins Detail gelegt wurde, um den Charakter zu erhalten. Es gibt alles Notwendige und noch vieles mehr. Die Gegend ist sehr beruhigend und wir konnten viel wandern. Es gibt viele interessante Bauwerke, wie Schlösser, Burgen, Kirchen uvm im Umkreis von 100 km mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Es gibt auch einen Außenpool, dieser sicherlich im Sommer sehr willkommen ist.

Mooi huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt . Erg schoon en knus . We waren er met zijn tweeën en de hond . Die lekker in de mooie omheinde tuin kon rond lopen Het was er in onze tijd erg warm 40 graden . Verkoeling was welkom en je kon gebruik maken van het zwembad . Omgeving is lekker rustig en mooi om te wandelen. Supermarkt voor de dagelijkse boodschappen is op goede afstand . Uiteraard heb je een auto nodig om naar leuke plaatsjes te gaan Eigenaar was zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam .Bij aankomst stonden er lekkere pruimen en tomaten van de eigenaar . We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad om goed te kunnen ontstressen Huisje raden we dan ook erg aan .

Natuurlijk was het prachtig weer maar zonder dit knusse huis met veel oog voor detail en een attente gastheer was het nooit zo’n ontspannen vakantie geworden. Een omheinde tuin met voldoende ruimte voor onze labrador met wandelroutes bij het huis. Heerlijk.
