The Mountain Lodge is a luxurious lodge nestled in the woods of Hocking Hills on 57 acres of private acreage while still remaining close to Logan restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The lodge boasts 6 comfortable bedrooms, large living spaces, and a magnificent kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers game room, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
Mountain Lodge is near Hocking Hills located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio
The nearby State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests will want to visit Logan or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. The Mountain View Lodge is located 15 miles from Athens and Ohio University. If guests venture 5 mile to Lake Logan you can enjoy the lake with family and friends.15 miles to Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

The doors were locked with the wrong code when we got there. Host took a while to respond. We had to climb in through a window. Internet was down the entire time. House was great though.

I really enjoyed staying here with my family. It was very quaint and serene. The abilitly to have a real fire was a very sweet amenity. The home was decorated for Christmas which made my heart melt. The home had a lot of space and it worked out smoothly for 9 people. I wish the hottub had been large enough to accommodate more than 4 people and the place was shown in its real state because it seemed grander on the site, although still very nice. It is now December, yet I will say it was quite cold and I could not find a thermostat to adjust the temperature, so if you're coming in the winter bring warm clothes & pjs.

The Home was very large and the 17 family members had a great time. My ten year old granddaughter said it the best with "Grandma, we don't even have to leave the house is the vacation! My only issue is the 10:00 checkout with 17 people. Maybe 11:00 would be better. Would definitely stay again!

Family Summer Vacation

With temps in the 90's, the pool was a huge success. The house is big with 3 floors and it affords quiet areas when needed. The 57 acres is shared with 2 other cabins, but it is private enough that we never saw anyone else during our stay. The house could use a few maintenence updates, but overall a nice stay.

The property was beautiful the house was awesome there’s a ton of room everyone had a bed! The check in process was easy and the property owner was very friendly and easy to get a hold of. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to go to hocking hills for a weekend

The property was nice once we cleaned up the mouse poop in the kitchen drawers and the septic smell was fixed. The response from 1st choice was great and they fixed the problem quickly. The only other thing i would mention is that you should not advertise a jacuzzi if it is not functional. Other than that the location was great, the space was great, the pool and the hot tub all great! the kids has fun in the game room

Our group made our annual trip to Mountain Lodge and it couldn't have been better. This was the first year we had significant snow and as soon as possible the road was plowed. We had a blast being snowed in. What a beautiful and peaceful property. Can't wait until next year!
