Located in El Paso, this holiday home is in the mountains. Franklin Mountains State Park and Billy Rogers Arroyo Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Chamizal National Memorial and El Paso Zoo. Bob-O's Family Fun Center and Western Playland Amusement Park are also worth visiting.
We were really satisfied by the location, the amenities, the cleanliness, the communication with the host for everything! Would go back without hesitation!
Cute little house that has everything you need! Great shower, super comfy beds, adorable kitchen. Very cozy and a great location. The manager was always on top of everything and answered all questions super fast!!
Great place in a great location. House had all that you’d need for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. Would definitely stay there again.
Very modern convince in an old world style. The home was perfect. Located in a central location with access to restaurants and bars…. Would recommend 100%
Great weekend getaway even better during the weekday. Conveniently located near restaurants and nightlife that are just a stroll down the block. Jaime has made sure that everything or anything you need is available to you. Easy to communicate with and quick at responses I appreciated Jaime for that.
This house was in a good location in El Paso. The house is old but has been renovated to feel very comfortable. Be sure to bring an extension cord or multi plug adapter if you have electronics to charge overnight because old houses have limited wall outlets in each room. The coffee maker is a manual French Press device.
We highly recommend this house. My husband, kids and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store and retail stores. It is also a block away from an El Paso trolley stop. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked. The inside is beautiful, comfortable and clean. On Thanksgiving morning, we were surprised to see that the Turkey Trot went right by the house. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch with our coffee, cheering on the runners. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to reply. We hope to stay here again.
Good size for our family of five. House was in good condition and very clean. Needs comfortable! Nice tv and sound. Would have appreciated check in and check out instructions sooner from the owner… picture on fire place not suitable for children, removed. Too many air freshener plug ins.. had to unplug. We were bummed we didn’t have access to the outdoor area through the family room… no key given for this. But overall this was a great place to stay and we would stay again.

Casita Kern Stay Review
The home is very cute and in a good location surrounding the El Paso area, close to downtown and all its main attractions. The home itself needs a lot of renovations. On the listing and photos, it shows there is a whole coffee set-up (Keurig with k-pods) this is inaccurate. There was no coffee station, only a French press. On the listing a hot tub is listed, this is also untrue there is no hot tub on the property. The back yard was very unkept with many weeds. The front porch chairs/furniture were full of dust and dirt and were unable to be sat on and enjoyed. When we arrived the linens on bed were dirty and needed to be washed. Jaime, was a good host in the sense of responding in a timely manner.

Hi Deborah on the pictures you clearly see that there is no Keurig or pods , what you see in the picture is a kettle a frothing device and what’s looks like pods is a spice rack, also no where in the picture do you see a hot tube, the front patio chairs are outside they will have some dust on them. Also there are 5 pairs of linens for each bed and where not dirty at all your review is misleading and I feel your looking for an excuse to vent and make my property look bad.
I first need to say the host was responsive and very nice to begin with. But the property is not as advertised. The key entrance to only one door with a key under the chair cushion is not acceptable since the key only opens the screen door, there is no key to the main entry door or to the back doors. The exterior of the property is not usable, dirty garden furniture, old couch on the back patio dusty and rotten, the washing machine and dryer are not available. When probed more than once, I was able to use the washing machine but it is in a back detached apartment with evidence of someone living there. The kitchen has lots of food, maybe the person living in the back uses the kitchen. The kitchen needs a good scrub, oven, stove, sink, counters, inside the cabinets dirty and very messy with food. Even the refrigerator needed to be cleaned inside. Until I got locked out and found ants in the shower, cockroaches in the kitchen and key issues, I checked out. The host then became unresponsive and is refusing to refund the days I did not stay there. I confess that I tore the screen on the door to get my hand in and try to get access when I got locked out since my keys and phone were inside.. But that repair is minor in cost and for what I already paid, that would more than cover the cost of the screen material to repair it. I am an architect so I am aware of construction costs - telling me that the entire door needs to be replaced was only trying to get me to pay.
