This charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin sits peacefully on the shores of Garden Lake, just 8.5 miles east of Ely, Minnesota, and 1.5 miles off Fernberg Road. Fully solar-powered and open year-round, it's a beautifully crafted, secluded retreat—ideal for couples seeking a romantic lakeside escape or small families eager to experience the magic of Canoe Country.
Surrounded by nature, the cabin offers direct water access to the BWCA and sits on the pristine, spring-fed Garden Lake—renowned for excellent fishing and boating with no horsepower limit. The private dock is perfect for tying up your boat or casting a line at sunset. No need for bottled water—enjoy clean, cold water from a 300+ foot well.
Inside, a wall of windows welcomes in natural light and stunning lake views. The open-concept first floor includes a cozy kitchen, dining area, and living room warmed by a wood-burning stove. The living room also features a twin size futon, providing additional sleeping arrangements for guests. A queen-size bed is located in the downstairs bedroom, while a spiral staircase leads to a loft with a twin and full bed, plus an another twin size futon—an ideal place to wake up surrounded by treetops and tranquility.
The outdoor features truly make this property shine. A spacious sundeck wraps around two sides of the cabin, offering a peaceful setting for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or sunset cocktails with a lake view. The 95-foot private dock with a bench provides ample space for fishing or tying up your boat, while a cedar pontoon swim raft anchored in the bay invites endless summer fun. Guests can also take advantage of the included 17' aluminum Grumman canoe with paddles and life jackets. An outdoor fire pit with bench seating, a gas grill, and a dedicated fish cleaning station round out the experience—making this cabin the ultimate lakeside retreat for outdoor lovers.

Dock is only available when weather permits, typically from mid-May through October. Please inquire for availability.
