Tiny house cabin in the middle of the city. It is a 2 story house, with a secluded private porch. You are able to kick back and relax!!! . It is also a 5 minute walk to the train station as well. The property is 5 minutes from downtown and 2 minutes from Historic Heights area. You are able to take the Train, taxi, or drive yourself.

My husband and I are used to “roughing it”but this place was not good. Upon arrival, the house was freezing cold. My husband climbed up and said there was mouse poop on the bed. I told him to stop and thought he was joking until I went up and saw for myself.. he wasn’t joking! And then I pulled the sheets back (because we both decided we would be ok if there was nothing inside the sheets) and a dead bug was in there. There was an a/c heater unit in the loft which we turned off after 30 seconds of having it on because it smelt like it was going to burst into flames! When we turned the shower on it just sprayed directly onto the toilet. We decided to sleep on the couch, but there were only 2 small blankets and one larger one (all very light weight) in the closet. We didn’t want to use any of the bedding from the loft so we used towels (that I hope were clean) out of the closet and tried to keep warm sleeping on the couch. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this was pretty disappointing after paying a cleaning deposit that was more than the price of our one night stay. Oh and when we went to leave, the latch on the gate wouldn’t open. We had to mess with it for 5 minutes to figure out how to get it open. Overall I feel this place has potential, but between the uncleanness and the danger of the heating/ac unit, I would not recommend!!

Put some effort into your business

This has the potential to be a good place but a lot of improvements need to be made. The bed situation is horrible. Two old mattresses stacked on top of each other with no frame, stained sheets, and dust balls all over the pillow and sheets from the filthy AC that is two feet from your head in the loft bed area. The couch is also horrible..stained, and you literally sink in and feel the springs when you sit down. He has black paper as curtains (no joke). Outside light doesn't work and fence doesn't work well. The last day people were working around the deck and just left a trash can filled with water and other debris right in the walk way so I had to manuever around it. Was given 2 different codes for check in and two for wifi - very confusing. All this is fixable. How about you spend a little money and put a little effort into your "business" here, instead of throwing junky furniture in there and not providing any customer service. The place is well built and looks good with a nice deck. He seems to have put effort into having tons of spices, nice cookware etc. All that is great but doesn't make up for the other stuff. At basically 100 a night this is unaceptable.

Great stay!

My friend and I came Into Houston for a concert and found this cute little tiny house which I found way better then staying at a hotel. It had everything we needed. It was super comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay again.
