Place was spotless and beautiful. Grounds were great and pool & beach access were perfect. We stayed in West this time and East a few months back. We are already figuring out when to come back to either one of these units next year. I can not recommend highly enough.

We just took a short trip to the beach from the Birmingham AL area. The condo was perfect. A beautiful gulf front view, close to everything but just far enough away for peace and quiet!
I loved that there was no check-in process. We just went to our room and used the code to get in. NO HASSLES! The parking passes were ready to put in our car and we were ready to relax. The condo was just as pictured and the décor was clean and tranquil. Another plus is that you are right on the beach; no long boardwalk to get down to the beach. We had a very relaxing trip with beach time, shopping, and great eating. Make sure you eat at the Original Oyster House and I suggest the peanut butter pie for dessert. The condo is the perfect distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping outlets.
We love Wind Drift and have stayed in several units there. This one was very clean, unlike others we’ve stayed in. It was well-appointed with linens, dishes, and lots of comfortable seating in the living room. The reason for only three stars is that both beds are horrible. If I rent a place to sleep, I expect nice beds that are comfortable. We had to get a memory foam mattress pad to be able to sleep there. The only other complaint is that the TVs aren’t on the condo WiFi so we couldn’t cast our devices or get to a menu to log into Netflix or Hulu. When I inquired about this, I was told to contact the cable company. It’s not my account so I didn’t waste an hour on hold to see if they could do anything.
My daughter and I reserved Wind Drift #708 for our annual mother/daughter weekend getaway. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the cleanliness. The view is welcoming. The condo is spacious and well stocked. Our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. My daughter and I are already discussing reserving the same condo for out getaway next year.
