Group of seven - 4 adults and 3 children - and plenty of space. The home is cozy and inviting. The bunk room was great. Kitchen well equipped as we cooked Kids enjoyed all the outdoor activities available. And the park is so conveniently close.
Fantastic place to stay! Excellent location to Caprock Canyon State Park. House was very comfortable and clean. Stayed with another couple. Loved the swing on the large covered porch. Great kitchen for making our own meals. Popped popcorn and relaxed by the fireplace to end the day. Thoroughly enjoyed!!
This is our 3rd stay and we will keep coming back to this amazing and historic home. It is meticulously clean, the hosts are amazing, and don’t forget to enjoy the stars at night. You won’t regret it!
What a wonderful place to stay and explore Caprocks Canyon and surrounding areas. The host was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We had a very comfortable, peaceful time. Highly recommend!!
It is a lovely place to stay, right by Cap Rock Canyon. Close to town, and yet peacefully in the country. If I am ever in this neck of the woods again, I would definitely stay here! The gas fireplace is a wonderful touch.
This beautiful home was the perfect location for our trip to see Caprock Canyon State Park. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We plan to return with other family members!
We had a wonderful stay at this updated, pretty decorated farmhouse, accomodating our large family group. It is well supplied and a lovely setting! It is very close to the park.
Great place to gather with family!!! Porch was absolutely perfect and the kids loved exploring the property!! Kitchen very well equipped and perfect size for large spread!!! Thank you so much for having us!
We were doing a childhood remembrance trip with my 89 year old Mother who was born in Gasoline. We visited Quitaque, Flomot, Turkey, Gasoline and Caprock Canyon State Park. The location worked great for our family.
If you are looking to visit Caprock Canyons but prefer a cozy bed, full kitchen, and hot shower to tent living, this is the place. It is just down the road from the state park and comfortably housed my family of 5. Nice dogs next door who will visit for a back scratch too.
We loved this lovely well-maintained house. There was ample space for all and the beds and couches were very comfortable. We especially loved the big front porch and huge screened porch. Easy access to the canyon, plus a short drive to the Tukey Hotel for live music and great food.
