Visiting

We stayed in this small home and found it to suit our basic needs in the countryside. I would describe it as more of a camping style. It met our needs of a place to stay with electricity and a hot shower. No complaints with the composting toilet. We enjoyed exploring the land and being outside under the stars at the fire pit.

Camping with A/C

The cleanliness was a no go, it was a mess. It has alot of gaps through the metal walls to the outside. Most windows & doors don't close all the way. The shower would not supply more than 5 minutes of hot water. The compost toilet consisted of a bucket with no compost material provided. When I requested a refund within an hour of check in he was rude & unethical, however he did end up giving a partial refund the next day. Possibly the listing should be a camping option, not a tiny house vacation home listing

This lady called me and I told her the situation and that it was not ready so we negotiated a very low rate. Since she was desparate for a low rate and a roof for her little kids with no daddie. I gave her a deal on the condition that she clean and fix it up to her liking. I then drove 3 hours to accommodate her and 3 hours back to Houston. The next day she bailed and complained like I was out of integrity rather than owning the fact she got in over her head and couldn't figure out sawdust for the compost. This lady was a nightmare so if you are a property owner you know every once and a while you get the nightmare person. This is she. Anyways I turned the listing off for a year while i did law school thanks to this lady she hurt my income for the year so I fixed this place up some more and Yoga yurt coming in June so becoming a better venue. Obviously you gotta start somewhere.
