Les gîtes de Wissembourg- Le Schlupfgass

"Schlupfgass'" is a small pedestrian alley located in the heart of the old town. Its name comes from the German verb "schlupfen," which means "to slip through" or "to squeeze through." In fact, this alley literally runs right through our small, traditional Alsatian half-timbered house. The “Schlupfgass’” holiday rental is located on the second floor of the house. This unique accommodation is furnished with modern amenities and comfort in a vintage style that will take you back a few decades in time. The open-concept loft-style living area can accommodate up to 6 people. It features a living area and a kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your favourite meals. On the same level, the first bedroom features a standard double bed. Head up the stairs to find two additional attic bedrooms. One is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the other has two single beds. The bathroom, located in a separate, enclosed room, is equipped with a combination shower and tub, allowing you to choose between an invigorating shower and a relaxing bath. Amenities: Kitchen: Oven, hob, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, Nespresso-style coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and all necessary dishes and kitchen utensils. Living room: Sofa, armchairs, coffee table, Wi-Fi, smart TV with over 400 channels via the OQEE by Free app, books, and board games. Bedrooms: 1 queen-size bed (160x200), 1 standard double bed (140x200), 2 single beds (90x200). Amenities provided: 2 bath towels per person, soap, shower gel, shampoo, tea towels, sponge, and dish soap, various cleaning supplies. Equipment available upon request, subject to availability (shared with our other accommodation): cot, high chair, and toys; crepe maker, raclette grill, croque-monsieur maker, waffle maker, fondue set, electric grill, air fryer, wok, food processor, and vacuum cleaner. Motorcycle and Bicycle Parking: We provide a shared, weather-protected parking area. It is located 350 metres from Schlupfgass. The area is secured by a video surveillance system. Only guests staying at “Les Gîtes de Wissembourg” have access to this parking area. Car parking: Place de la Commanderie, a public area with free parking.
