We had a lovely stay at this quiet, unique and characterful house, which had plenty of space for our family of eight. The house is older and has lots of charm and spectacular views. The house is joined to the owners’ property but you wouldn’t know he was there.There are some fantastic amenities for families, including WiFi, a swimming pool, basketball hoop, table tennis and boules, which everyone really enjoyed. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning down stairs and in the master bedroom and there was plenty of space for us all.The location is great, with some lovely walks nearby, and we particularly enjoyed visiting the local town and its car boot sale/market.The host was lovely and very welcoming. A couple of small things could have made the stay even better. One of the bedroom shutters wasn’t working, and the water was turned off by someone working at the property without any prior notification, which was a little inconvenient. We also lost the internet for a couple of days. It would also have been useful to have some instructions for using the kitchen appliances, particularly as some were unfamiliar to us.Overall, we had a really enjoyable family stay and would happily recommend the property, particularly for families looking for somewhere spacious with lots of activities and a great location.
