NEEDS A LOT OF TLC
It was sad to see /what could be beautiful house run so terribly - the house could be charming - but absolutely in need of deep cleaning. Upon arrival we were quickly disappointed when what we were expecting to be enjoying a family vacation full of memories, we immediately had to go to marshalls to buy fresh linens for bed and bath to salvage what we could of our vacation. We also bought comforter sets for each bed as it appeared whoever bought the bedding had taste up their XXX. Not only ugly but old and cheap crap probably from walmart or possibly five below. Who would want to stay at an historical home with dirty area rugs and crappy bedding. The beds were all uncomfortable and we were greeted with one very old towel and wash cloth that were bought at the local dollar tree. Yes 1 towel per room to share for a four night stay. Each bathroom was stocked with an almost empty cheap hand soap and 1/2 a roll of toilet paper each. Besides being filthy the vents on ceiling looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. I was afraid to leave light on at night that it could cause a fire. Kitchen appliances were
cruddy as well. We had to clean the fridge before we could put food in it. Servingware was the worst. Pots looked like they were purchased at the local dump and there was a half empty bottle of dish soap but plenty of ants. They did have a can of raid on counter so i guess we should be happy. Necho was unavailable the whole weekend. Never again!!
