NEEDS A LOT OF TLC
It was sad to see /what could be beautiful house run so terribly - the house could be charming - but absolutely in need of deep cleaning. Upon arrival we were quickly disappointed when what we were expecting to be enjoying a family vacation full of memories, we immediately had to go to marshalls to buy fresh linens for bed and bath to salvage what we could of our vacation. We also bought comforter sets for each bed as it appeared whoever bought the bedding had taste up their XXX. Not only ugly but old and cheap crap probably from walmart or possibly five below. Who would want to stay at an historical home with dirty area rugs and crappy bedding. The beds were all uncomfortable and we were greeted with one very old towel and wash cloth that were bought at the local dollar tree. Yes 1 towel per room to share for a four night stay. Each bathroom was stocked with an almost empty cheap hand soap and 1/2 a roll of toilet paper each. Besides being filthy the vents on ceiling looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. I was afraid to leave light on at night that it could cause a fire. Kitchen appliances were cruddy as well. We had to clean the fridge before we could put food in it. Servingware was the worst. Pots looked like they were purchased at the local dump and there was a half empty bottle of dish soap but plenty of ants. They did have a can of raid on counter so i guess we should be happy. Necho was unavailable the whole weekend. Never again!!

Rare find perfect for group
The house had several great features that made it perfect for our week long stay with multiple friends. First, it was perfect for multiple couples/families to stay in as each room was large and had its own bathroom this is a rare thing to find. The wrap around porch with the rocking chairs were a great feature to sit outside in the mornings and listen to the birds. The kitchen was large and spacious for all of us getting ready in the morning. There was a grill in the front that we used to have a barbeque one night and hang out playing games. Parking was plentiful and right in front of the house. The location was close to everything. There were plenty of extra towels and linens as well as a washer and dryer. The host was responsive and accommodating as we asked about a microwave and he went and purchased one and installed it that day. So as you see there are so many positives about this place I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Wilson Beauty
pretty, location location, spacious, kid and pet friendly, free easy parking, near all - restaurants, church, medical, supermarkets, reasonable gasoline, nice neighborhood to walk around, easy access to main highways but far enough not to be disturbing, great porch to sit on and enjoy the views, great property manager who responds very promptly, we will be back next year

Easter visit with college son
We had an awesome visit with my Barton college student over Easter. The home was large enough for all my kids and their significant others and the dog too. The location was ideal and everyone loved the spacious bedroom and attached baths in each room. The home needs some TLC; it appears to need a deep cleaning and some minor repairs to floors and walls. The heating and cooling was able to be controlled in each room which was nice. The home is a very pretty older home. We were surprised that there was no microwave. I never stayed at a VRBO with no microwave. We made Easter dinner and had to heat in the toaster over and over. Overall we had a great visit all together.
