A very unique experience as we were able to rent the entire inn to accommodate our family of adult children, their children and our dogs.So much space available with additional sitting spaces in some of the suites. Enclosed backyard which we were able to use daily.Well stocked Kitchen that we used for making our Easter meal. Added bonus of the morning breakfast being provided daily. The food was truly outstanding every day.Minor issue with HVAC resolved immediately by the host who was easy to reach and very welcoming. Very obvious that she cares about providing a good experience.Would not hesitate to recommend this property and we would look forward to returning again soon!
Without a doubt, this the most enjoyable bed and breakfast experience we've had! The house is fascinating, the breakfasts served were out-of-this world, and Laura and her staff were kind and incredibly accommodating to our family of 15. Such a wonderful stay!
Beautiful house, took care in little details and unexpected amenities. Delicious breakfast and great location. Beds were hotel quality. Will stay again!!!’
The house is great. Bedrooms are all very large and very comfortable. Location is walking distance to everything in town! Great host and awesome bed and breakfast as well! Cannot recommend enough and we will be back!
Such a lovely place and Trish’s big breakfast was great, something for the whole family. Everyone was comfy throughout the home. Yard was a lovely place to gather in the evening and for a quiet morning time for Nana 😎
We rented the entire house. The staff was amazing! Took care of every little detail to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Location and proximity to WM campus is amazing. The breakfast was delicious - as was the catered event they did! for us.
With 9 people we had the entire house for 4 nights celebrating with family. A beautiful home with plenty of space for everyone. A special shout out to Sarah, who made a terrific breakfast for us each morning and made a special effort to serve something each day for our one vegan eater. We highly recommend Laura and her thoughtful staff for a great place to stay in Williamsburg!
We stayed at the home for a family trip to Williamsburg. Yes, they come and make breakfast for you every single day. And some nice treats as well. Walkable to Williamsburg and tons of space to spread out. Hope to be back someday.
Fabulous location, walk to Colonial Williamsburg, restaurants, shopping. Amenities were everything you would need and desire. Great breakfasts. Bedrooms each having their own bathrooms a huge plus with 14 people. Would definitely go back!
Rented out the whole house for family lodging during my highly son’s wedding weekend. Such a great house with full bathrooms in every room plus really nice TVs with streaming services. Trish made delicious breakfasts every morning. We held a brunch buffet for 40 people catered by the owner Laura’s catering company, and the seating space inside and outside was perfect. (We lucked out with perfect weather as well.) Location to William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg could not be more convenient. Highly recommend!
Arrived with family this past weekend for my mother's funeral. We booked all the rooms. Trisha made two wonderful breakfasts, was outstanding with her customer service, then gave us the privacy we needed. Thank you!
We were very pleased with our stay at The Inn at 605. Catered lunch was delicious. Many positive comments re: lunch. Some miscommunications between catering and housekeeping , re: kitchen clean up, but all was resolved the next morning. Everyone had a great weekend!
wonderful stay but could not give 5 stars because we had no heat in one bedroom for 2 nights and no heat on the first floor for two days. The host did get us 4 space heaters but the temp was still in the 50s in the rooms mentioned. Breakfast were wonderful and the house fit our needs but the cold made for a "not top drawer" experience. Sitting around the living room at night in blankets is not fun.
John and Kirsten Hicks (16 family members in total) Excellent
There was a place for all 16 of us to sleep and hang out and plenty of bathrooms with the bedrooms. Our ages were 6-79 years.
The house could be a bit cleaner and the landscaping a bit tidier. The railing at the back door steps to the patios is frail. The breakfasts were terrific and communication wonderful. I would recommend this place to others.
Williamsburg visit during the Christmas Holidays 605
This is a charming home very conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg. Everything was wonderful from the early American atmosphere of the house to the delicious breakfasts and kind hospitality of the hosts. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We had a car which I think is helpful to get around the area such as visiting Busch Gardens, Jamestown etc. There is plenty of parking available in front and side of the house. We had the whole house for our family of 6 but it can take more easily . They also offer individual b and b rooms. Our thanks to Laura and Becky for a memorable stay!
We didn’t know it was the central location for everyone connected to this business. Had many people congregate in this home, even people looking for mustard and catsup entering without knocking. People came in looking for the party without knocking, a little intrusive. We get that it’s a bed and breakfast, but for the price, we were startled when so many people just walked in. We stayed last year at the same time, it was different this time. We still enjoyed our time together as a family.
