The cabin is spacious and plenty of room for a family of six. The covered porch was awesome. We had a wonderful stay.

Loved our stay in Munds Park

Great to get away from the heat in the cool pines. The host is amazing, very accommodating. We have stayed here 3 times now, perfect place for a family to get together. The cabin has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and Munds Park is a great place to run or hike.

My husband & I are in our 70s & 80s. We have one dog. Our 3 non-negotiables in looking for a place were: 2beds/2baths; AC; and a fenced area for our dog. The property fit our needs plus more. There were 2 bds. downstairs and 2 upstairs. We didn’t use the upstairs at all. We’ve stayed at VRBOs several times in other locations. Comparing other properties where we’ve stayed to this property, this was impressive. One of our complaints about other places where we’ve stayed is mediocre furnishings—garage sale junk. We loved the quality of kitchen items (matching dishes, utensils, cookware), furniture (very comfortable beds), TV, etc. They were of similar quality to our own home. During our stay we had one situation that required assistance. We managed to get ourselves locked out when we returned from sightseeing. As 2 non-techie seniors, we attribute the problem to operator error. We sent Shannon a text telling her of our problem. We thought it would require a lengthy wait before we’d be able to get inside. We were shocked when, less than a minute later, the locked clicked open. Saying that we were impressed is an understatement. Overall, our stay was excellent and we’d love to stay here again in the future.

Shannon’s place was perfect for our multi-generational group. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and the same upstairs which worked very nicely. We enjoyed every part of the common spaces. We sat and chatted on the front porch and just enjoyed the breeze and smell of the pine trees. The side porch was amazing. We played games on the long table and BBQ’d on the beautiful Traeger BBQ. There’s also a gas grill if you prefer but my husband was so excited about trying out the Traeger that we didn’t use the that one. Inside, the kitchen had literally anything you could think of. It had plenty of everything. We have never experienced such a well-equipped kitchen. The large round table accommodated the whole family. We made use of the washer and dryer. The seating in the living was plentiful. And, there was plenty of off-street parking. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. It’s very peaceful. We found a trailhead within a quick walk away. It was nice to get some movement in without having to drive somewhere. Communication with Shannon was seamless. Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay.
