Pet friendly, Mid century stone home with large back yard, less than 1 mile from the main St./Bay in Fish Creek, across from an Orchard/Winery. The layout is open Living Room to Kitchen. Large living room has a TV, and stone, wood burning fireplace, hardwood and tile floors. Modern appliances and quartz counters, full-size washer and dryer. Large family room with a 65 " TV, and has heated floors with two double sleeper sofas and one twin sleeper sofa, also has an inviting electric fireplace. There are TVs in the both Bedrooms. The front area has a patio and seating. Rear of home has a big patio/ext. kitchen area with gas grill, huge firepit and large yard with plenty of chairs at the pub style counter, great for large gatherings!

We had a great stay! The house is nice, very well equipped, and a very convenient location. Any issues or questions that came up got quick response. We really liked the cozy family room for watching movies at night, as it was REALLY cold outside during our stay! Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, spacious and ideal location - easy to head south to Egg Harbor/Sturgeon Bay or north to Sister Bay and beyond. Or if you want to hang out at the property, there is a firepit, large yard and winery across the road.

We loved this cozy cottage! The property is beautiful and conveniently located to Fish Creek. Doreen was a very accommodating host! I would definitely stay here again. The only item I would like to mention is the shower in the laundry did leak onto the floor. We were easily able to wipe up the water. I would love to stay here in the fall and take advantage of the wonderful fire pit and the other outdoor sitting areas.

Great Stay!

Two couples and a pet stayed for 4 nights. Check-In was super easy, owners live near by. Great kitchen with a lovely island to sit around, cook and with tons of pots, pans, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and even a crock pot. Owners did not miss a thing. Beds were comfy, nice fresh linens and towels. Plenty of room and would for sure stay again with this decent price point.

Beautiful home

Great jumping off point for Door County. Very nice, clean home with plenty of space. Loved having the backyard yard firepit for an evening fire and s'mores. Enjoyed Sister Bay, Ephraim and Fish Creek - nothing is to far away. Eagle tower was beautiful! Great place to stay. Quick response when the weather unexpectantly got a little warm and we wanted to sit outside. Thank you for the use of your lovely home!

Clean place, everything you need, central to what we wanted to do. Close to Peninsula State Park. Walked across Hwy 42 for wine tasting and a band. Dog friendly. Would stay there again.

Great Location

The house was really nice, and very clean! It's in a great location, right around the corner to downtown Fish Creek. It's also not to far from all the other little towns. Loved the big yard, to take my dog out. I would definitely recommend this house, and would stay again.

Very nice!

Very nicely decorated and clean property. We enjoyed having the fire ring in the backyard and the tables in both the back and front to sit out and enjoy the nice weather. This property is as described in VRBO. Don't let the proximity to Hwy.42 scare you away - it's a great location and the highway noise at night is minimal. We'd stay there again!

My family enjoyed the property. There was plenty of space for the five of us and it was very clean. Just a short drive into Fish Creek. The "game room" with additional sleeping space was a real bonus. The host checked in without prompting and was very helpful. We hope to be able to stay here again!

Orchard and winery location

The owner was very responsive in communication and the home was very clean and convenient to all of our shopping, dining and hiking activities. The backyard fire pit was secluded and enjoyed by all 4 adults and our golden retriever. The only draw back was the proximity to the highway

The house is very clean. Has a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable A good supply of towels. Very pretty landscaping and a nice big fire pit with supply of wood, Doreen has thought of just about everything you will need for a great stay. Very good communication if you have questions. The house is in a great location. A quick and easy drive will get you any place you want to go. Highly recommend.

My Husband and I enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a good location for us with many family members close by. The house provided many little things you "might" need. Even though it is a two bedroom, the game provides extra pull out beds. The flowers outside are very beautiful, it is obvious this house means a lot to the owners.

I love Fish Creek, and only dreamed of owning a place there in the heart of Door County. So when opportunity came my way, I was excited to buy this home. It has been 20 years, and I have continually updated and enhanced it's amenities whenever I could, because I lived there.
It is so pleasant to sit on the front patio in the early mornings and enjoy the beauty of the vineyard and the sounds of birds and sometimes boats in the distance, and as the day progresses, you can watch the winery activity increase and see the flow of vacationers to their destinations. Walk across the street to indulge in the fresh bakery items, or do some wine tasting! If you like more quiet time, go onto the large patio which is off the family room, it is peaceful and has a huge back yard. There is seating for 10 + people with a large pub styled counter with high back chairs by the grilling area, plus a lower table and chairs. There is a huge firepit, and plenty of lawn area for yard games. The beach is about a mile away, you can take walks down Cottage Row, or Gibraltar bluff road where there are majestic homes and beautiful bluff views, I used to love running that loop is about 3 .8 miles. Or walk down the hill into the village, where there is plenty of coffee shops, diners, restaurants, shopping, and the Marina. You will love the area, and you are close to other towns with more attractions as well! Egg Harbor is 5 miles away, Sister Bay is 10 Miles away, and both have great food, fun entertainment, and excellent beaches! I am sure no matter where you end up, you will love your stay.
