About this property

Historic home Elmwood Village upper flat

This home is bright and light colorful and cozy. Short walk to the Elmwood Village restaurants and shops. This is a historic home with eclectic decor. This is a large home with period moldings and large windows. Steam heat, it's cozy in the winter!
This is our second home and has an arty vibe. We use it fairly regularly so it is more like a home than a standard vacation rental. There are spices and condiments in the refrigerator and canned goods and things like oatmeal and rice in the cupboards. Use whatever you like. (or not lol).

This home is not renovated and modern. The house is 130 years old and the apartment has not been updated since the 80's. The appliances are older and there are not new countertops etc. If sleek and high tech finishes are what you want, this is not for you. The heat is steam radiators and there is only window unit A/C in the bedrooms from June - October. All the windows work and there are screens and lots of fans. It's in the middle of a fabulous neighborhood and is priced accordingly.

Checkout: Leave towels in hamper in bath and wash dishes and leave in drainer. All trash in trashcans if you fill a bag there are extra's underneath.
$30 pet fee per stay. No fenced yard. Clean up after them on walks and no pets sleeping on furniture. No excessive barking while you are not there.
