Two private bedrooms, with adjoining den and private bath just steps down the hall, provides all the comforts of a cozy apartment. Located on the second floor of an historic home built in 1927, the rooms feature period-appropriate furnishings and finishes. Hosted by former AirBnB Super Hosts, guests enjoy a daily Continental Breakfast, a Den with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV and other creature comforts. The Hosts are former Yard of the Month honorees and the grounds reflect their touches. The home is located in the prestigious Country Club area of Sioux City and rests on almost 1.75 acres of greenspace. Several garden areas provide space for sitting, bird watching or just enjoying the quietness of nature. The grounds are home to deer, rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional hawk.

What a charming, historic, warm and loving place! If you are on the road on a frequent base and rather choose the warm, friendly and welcoming home over your point driven hotel room - this is it. If you travel for pleasure and are looking for welcoming friends along the miles - this is it. I call it The Fernwell house - after the sweet pup in the picture. Cindy & Tom are carrying host that, I'm sure, will reach 'Superhost' level again in no time. The historical house and property is great for a single traveler like me as well as a family. I'm looking forward to visit again
