This was the perfect place for my son and I to stay. It was cute and cozy, with a beautiful view and a trail to the creek right off the backyard. We loved being able to bring our dogs with us (especially our new shelter dog with abandonment issues—it was so nice not to have to leave her at home.) We were close to everything we wanted to do (and more) and can’t wait to come back! The owner was very friendly and informative, and the information he gave about activities in the area did not go to waste! We activitied our legs off!
Cute place with a full kitchen if you you want or need it. A/c works well but is a little tricky. Very quiet and relaxed. I hardly knew other people were there. My dog is a senile old man but was peppier with all the lovely sniffing he got to do. He also slept like a stone. We were in the area for a free Vaccine and Microchip clinic with SOS Pet Rescue and some spay neuter shifts at FURR Fix. I come home exhausted and love retreating to a nice cool, comfortable, and quiet cottage. My boyfriend adored it as well. Would definitely rent again.

We wanted a private cabin getaway. We felt extremely misled by the listing. It does not say that the cabin is a split townhouse and you are not renting the whole cabin, where you can hear the neighbor staying in the same building with you. It does not say that the outdoor amenities such as the pergola are common between the other guests in the adjacent cabins. It does not mention that right outside the cabin on the porch you can hear the loud noise from the adjacent main road that the cabin is directly off of.
The photos and description are misleading to make the space look bigger than it is, particularly the kitchen/dining/living area. Its tiny with barely any storage space. It's not even renovated that well: the window screen is broken and lets bugs in if you want to open the window, the bed is cheap and uncomfortable and we barely slept both nights, the heating and cooling is uneven. And then the audacity to charge an exorbitant cleaning fee prior to giving the "house rules," which include loading the dishwasher, taking the garbage outside, and other tasks.
The cabin was fine and view was lovely, but not even remotely worth it after fees. I would not have booked this listing if I knew what I was actually getting for it vs. what was advertised.
The location is conveniently located with shops close by. Clean and spacious the perfect cabin for us and our dogs. A nice walking trail through the woods to the creek was a plus. Owner was close by, helpful and friendly. Hope to book again during trout season.
I really enjoyed my time im this cabin. The place is cozy and comfortable with a very cute mix of modern and rustic. The location is really convenient as it is less than 20min drive from many of the Poconos Mountains resorts. Very convenient stay. Looking forward to staying here again.
Loved the convenient location, the small trail and creek through the property. We were 30 minutes from Jim Thorpe, and Camelback was about 20 minutes away. Lots of grocery stores and gas station close by. Very convenient! And the host was super responsive! We will definitely come back here again.
